    Fernandes's performance today in Sporting's 3-1 win.

Bruno with two goals again... Sporting are going to be properly ********ed if they sell him. Absolutely everything goes through him.

If we were actually close to signing him, he wouldn’t have played tonight. Tells me it’s a lot further off than being reported if there’s anything in it at all.

They came to see us first to get a price set, Spurs will get him because Levy doesnt dither and delay.

We lost Pogs / McT to injury ages ago, Eriksen has just played probably his last game for them and will be immediately replaced with Bruno.

Only Woody could screw up a deal where the selling team comes to us, makes it clear they want to sell him, and sets a price we can easily afford.

But he's too wayward with the ball, remember?

If we are to miss on Fernandes again when he appeared to have been made available to us is one thing. But if he was to end up at Spurs, then I (and the majority of United fans, I imagine) will be absolutely furious. And rightfully so I might add.
Spurs are supposed to be already strapped cash wise with the new stadium and all, but they were already given a free ride for Ndombele. Allowing them to get Fernandes (therefore spending over €120mil in midfielders in 6mos) would be ridiculous. And u can be certain that the chants heard today towards Woodward and the Glazers will be nothing compared to what's to come.

    Did this today.

Word is the deal with United is all but done and will be announced by early this coming week. Reportedly involves cash and at least one player. To be continued...

Considering it was the right oppo… (not sure why people on Twitter do stuff like that).

Still an incredible strike on his part, whenever it was...

Haven’t seen the Bellingham kid but from what I’ve read he’s very highly rated. He’s exactly the type we should be aiming for in parallel to guys that will improve our first team right away.

Not heard of him till today. I can't imagine he's a better prospect than Eze though?

Supposedly best in his class. Agree with Mizou, target the best young players.

Too many turnovers that was the issue in the summer.

Cause Woody is an idiot. He took forever with Slabhead and now he couldn't see the bleeding obvious.

Flashbacks of Tony Yeaboah. That was impressive.

Is he a winger? Or CAM? I just see it says midfielder. Either way he would be a very shrewd buy so, I bet we will ******** it up.

I didn't factor in that Bellingham is 5 years younger tbf.

Bellingham plays mainly as a box to box type midfielder. But he can also play wide on each side as can the case with very athletic young players.
Likely he will settle in a central role over time.

Cool, a young English 8, to play alongside McT in our 2nd unit Midfield.

If we could do a first unit midfield of Pogba, Bruno and Fred with McT, Jude and AP. Though I would love to add Partey into the mix, just not sure who sits.
