Who says Hakimi wouldn’t start on the right?

Carvajal is in need of serious competition for his job.

    I still

    cannot fathom

how the club appears to have zero interest in getting some DM depth. Flo should be praying every night for Casemiro’s health.

Hakimi should return and start over Carvajal.Carvajal has been on rapid decline in the past 2 seasons. He used to be the best right back in the world for years but i fear his best years are already behind him .

The options that are available are just not that great or too expensive as a back-up. There aren't reasonably priced options in the market, who are coming to the end of their career. I think we'll go in for someone in the summer.

If we're bringing back Hakimi, it's to play on the Right. In front of Carvajal. Let's be serious.

Jonathan Barnett, the agent of Gareth Bale, has admitted that the chances of a summer move away from Real Madrid for his client are slim.

Barnett also revealed that there is absolutely not chance of the Welshman leaving Los Blancos in January.

"He's going nowhere," Barnett told ESPN about Bale's chances of leaving in January.

"It's very unlikely," he answered when asked about a summer exit for Bale.

‘It’s not time to make waves': Mbappe on new PSG contract

“For now, I am ready to play football,” Mbappe said after scoring in his team’s 6-1 rout of St Etienne

“It is January, it’s the start of the final sprint where there are titles to play for. Therefore it’s not the moment to make waves.” Mbappe has a deal at PSG which runs until 2022.

“The club is calm and serene, everyone is pulling in the same direction, so talking about things that are off the pitch is not very realistic and not very beneficial for the team,” added Mbappe who now has 19 goals for the season.

He's going to squeeze every euro out of the club while riding as a passenger to hopeful titles.

It’s pretty disheartening man. Gotta hope he has a moment or two of magic to help the club to a title while he is there.

A little Roundup at all the golf courses in Madrid might force things

    Edit:

appears to have same persistent injury issues but these days the club simply doesn't comment

No idea why Zidane keeps playing him. He isn’t not contributing well enough, we have younger players we need to give minutes to, and he’s a dickhead.

Yeah Mbappe definitely has no leverage lol.

PSG are completely relaxed in this situation. No pressure.

It would be very hard. Almost impossible considering Neymar will definitely force his exit.

They know they can hold onto him for another year. It's the summer 2021 where their hand will be forced.

Eh, i think Ney ends up getting locked in the golden cage.

Who is going to sign him? Barca? With what money? And play him where?

Otherwise I cant see anyone else paying 220+ for a guy whos as injury prone as he is

Hes in the same contract situation as Mbappe, too

It's a new year so they will have some funds naturally. Also selling Coutinho will help.

If they can find a buyer for Dembele even better.

They can play Neymar and messi with Griezman/Suarez.

    Flamengo coach, Jorge Jesus:

    Q. Reinier is joining Real Madrid and you were his last coach. What can you say about this young Brazilian star?

    A. He's a young player with lots of talent, but they don't look at him like they looked at Joao Felix, with all the pressure that he had. I really believe in Reinier, I've had various chats with him and we spoke a lot about what he could look over, how he could improve, his defects, what he needed to address. We spoke a lot, I taught him about various exemplar players for Reinier to have a reference.

Reinier is a very intelligent kid, he likes to learn and I can say that he's exceptionally gifted. Physically, he's exceptionally gifted for his position of second striker, but they don't invent, don't put him on the wing because it's going to strangle him. The system is key to him performing, For example, he finds it difficult to play in a 4-3-3.

    Q. Do you think Reinier will succeed in Spain?

    A. I think so. He's only 17 years old but physically he's got extraordinary characteristics. He's very strong technically and he's five years ahead of his age on the pitch, he plays as if he were a 22-year-old in terms of emotion and intelligence. Now he has to grow, he's not Joao Felix, they're different.

The Portuguese has more goalscoring characteristics while Reinier is technically gifted and he doesn't like playing as a striker, he likes having another player alongside him and he's very strong in the middle of midfielders.

    Q. Have you spoken to him about Real Madrid?

    A. I haven't had time, but I'm sure that he's mature enough. He'll arrive at Real Madrid ready and calm to do his job. But it's necessary to give him time so that he can grow as a player and this is very important so that he can succeed at Real Madrid one day.
