Kashima seems to be strengthening their squad this year, probably signing Everaldo and a few J-league players e.g Tatsuki Nara and Sugioka, etc. and high school players like Itsuki Someno, etc.
http://www.bellmare.co.jp/230425 Wakatsuki negotiating an overseas transfer. One of the biggest surprises at the U-17 World Cup. Should be interesting to see where he goes in Europe.
Any possible moves this january? I dont mean 17 year olds im thinking players that will fight for a a-team spot.
Don't seem like any. I think a lot of the younger players(U-23 and below) might be scared to risking their Olympic spots if they move now.

Russian side Rostov made a formal offer to sign Kento Hashimoto. They are currently 4th in the RPL and have a good chance to qualify for EL/CL. https://www.sponichi.co.jp/soccer/news/2020/06/12/kiji/20200612s00002179004000c.html
Keita Endo is going to Union Berlin in a loan deal: https://www.sponichi.co.jp/soccer/news/2020/07/22/kiji/20200723s00002179109000c.html
Now it would be very useful for Japan if players such as Ao Tanaka, Hayato Araki, Ayumu Seko, Higashi Shunki, Koki Saito, Kazuki Fujita and Mitsuki Saito went to Europe. Maybe a striker as well.
Nice, Keita Endo is a pretty neat player. He might be able to start the resurgence of Japanese players going straight to Bundesliga and being starters like how it was circa 2011-2013 back then when players go directly from J league to Bundesliga e.g Inui and Kiyotake, etc. I think the player that should go now the most are the likes of Koki Machida(especially now that Shoji is back in J league), Koki Ogawa, So Fujitani, Kaoru Mitoma and Tatsuki Seko, etc. They are the olders one among the Olympic generation (born in 1997 and younger). There is a chance that the Olympics might not be held next year as well, hence they should maybe go try it out in Europe as they have the potential. Maybe a few who are a year or two younger like Kento Misao and Ryoya Ogawa, etc. can give it a shot as well even though they are not the Olympic generation as they are not that old yet and have some potential. Then those who are not doing so well like Shibasaki, etc. can come back to the J league.
According to news article: he will play his last match for Yokohama F Marinos this Sunday against Consadole Sapporo before flying to Germany to finalize his move to Union Berlin.
Rumors regarding this are surfacing again. Seems like there is a slight chance of Fujimoto moving to Gil Vicente.
Rumors are that FC Lille is interested in Jun Nishikawa and has plans to buy him and loan him to Belgian Div 1 club Royal Mouscron-Peruwelz. Not sure how reliable it is though.
Lille is a great club to develop and hone young talents and then sell them to bigger clubs in Europe. Edin Hazard is the most famous product of their system, and recently they sold Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen to Napoli for 45 million euros = 52 US million dollars (81 million euros with bonuses and add-ons = 95 US million dollars). From my perspective, I think this is the best option for Nishikawa as he will stagnate if he will stay in Japan. He has an exceptional raw talent, but does not know how to utilise it, neither coaching staff at both NT and club are doing him any good. He needs to improve some aspects of his game, such as pace, physicality, and urgency. In addition, he needs to sort out in which position he shall play, whether as a winger, second striker, side-midfielder, behind the striker (a No.10), or false 9. For me I think his skillset is more suitable for an advanced central midfielder (a No.8) just like Modric at Real Madrid. All of this issues cannot be resolved if he stays in Japan, or he will be another wasted talent.
Hmm, not sure if I agree with him being an advanced central midfielder. He seems to play a bit forward to be a central midfielder, maybe an attacking midfielder like Ozil's type seems more likely plus his vision for passing and ball control is nowhere near Modric imo. Plus, he is taller by Modric by a bit, hence mobility wise, I don't think he will be able to move as fast as quickly and cover as large as a distance Modric is usually able to cover. The player that I think that can play Modric's role in then JNT might be Kubo now but he seems to be used on the wings more these days. Shibasaki/Kagawa used to be the most suitable imo but they seems to have fallen off the radar by abit now.
Musashi Suzuki to newly-promoted Beerschot seems all but done. Announcement should be incoming, along with a multi-year contract.
