First!! For those who dont think it's that bad or think this kind of stupidity happens with any administration or Hillary would have been as bad. Read this thread. 1214031169173348352 is not a valid tweet id

Let's elect a guy who has been bankrupt several times and whose greatest achievement was getting a reality show. What can go wrong?
There's been 10 of these? He has to be the most discussed pol in P&CE history. More than Bush & Obama. Does he even beat her?
Trump said this. “I think we’ve done a fantastic job but eventually we want to be able to let Iraq run their own affairs. And that’s very important. We want to get out, but this isn’t the right point,” Trump said in the Oval Office.
Wasn't that movie loosely based on Bill Clinton and the "war" with Serbia being a distraction from the blow job scandal?
Wow! What an entrance. Coming through the doors in a beam of heavenly light. The chosen one has saved us again from the excesses of Obama. As well as reminding us all the wonderful sacrifices he has made to keep the world safe from terrorism. It doesn't matter what the movie was about. Wagging the Dog is working now. What impeachment????
Good piece by Krugman, as usual... https://www.nytimes.com/2020/01/06/opinion/trump-iran-trade.html From his first days in office, Trump has acted on the apparent belief that he could easily intimidate foreign governments — that they would quickly fold and allow themselves to be humiliated. That is, he imagined that he faced a world of Lindsey Grahams, willing to abandon all dignity at the first hint of a challenge. But this strategy keeps failing; the regimes he threatens are strengthened rather than weakened, and Trump is the one who ends up making humiliating concessions. Remember, for example, when Trump promised “fire and fury” unless North Korea halted its nuclear weapons program? He claimed triumph after a 2018 summit meeting with Kim Jong-un, North Korea’s leader. But Kim made no real concessions, and North Korea recently announced that it might resume tests of nuclear weapons and long-range missiles. Or consider the trade war with China, which was supposed to bring the Chinese to their knees. A deal has supposedly been reached, although details remain scarce; what’s clear is that it falls far short of U.S. aims, and that Chinese officials are jubilant about their success in facing Trump down. -------------------------------------------------- Trump, however, has turned his back on everything that used to make America great. Under his leadership, we’ve become nothing more than a big, self-interested bully — a bully with delusions of grandeur, who isn’t nearly as tough as he thinks. We abruptly abandon allies like the Kurds; we honor war criminals; we slap punitive tariffs on friendly nations like Canada for no good reason. And, of course, after more than 15,000 lies, nothing our leader and his minions say can be trusted. Trump officials seem taken aback by the uniformly negative consequences of the Suleimani killing: The Iranian regime is empowered, Iraq has turned hostile and nobody has stepped up in our support. But that’s what happens when you betray all your friends and squander all your credibility.
And his suckasses are nearly as bad. Take Mike Pompeo for instance. Dude peaked in his 20s/early 30s being first in his class at West Point, military service, then Harvard Law. Once he landed in KS it's bascially been a degrading career as a Wingnut Warrior.
Krugman was too kind. North Korea jacks Trump around like a puppet, summoning him for nonsense "summits." Russian television openly portrays Trump as working for Putin. Erdogan dropped Trump's personal letter into the circular file, while disregarding all his requests. The Saudis know that they can commit whatever atrocity they like against their citizens, and Trump will cover for them. He's a sucker to be played. We've never had such a weak President.
I had thought it was Kosovo, but just looked it up and it came out before all those events, and even before Monica Lewinsky. It was just prophetic.
Unlike the high level intelligence from 2003... https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...s-aides-profoundly-unconvincing-briefing.html Two Republican senators came out of a closed-door briefing on Capitol Hill saying they would support a War Powers resolution that would limit President Donald Trump's ability to act in regards to Iran.
But but heremailsbenghaziclintonfoundationuraniumone!!!!!! https://www.washingtonpost.com/nati...83932e-32f9-11ea-a053-dc6d944ba776_story.html John Huber, the U.S. attorney in Utah, was tapped in November 2017 by then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions to look into concerns raised by President Trump and his allies in Congress that the FBI had not fully pursued cases of possible corruption at the Clinton Foundation and during Clinton’s time as secretary of state, when the U.S. government decided not to block the sale of a company called Uranium One. As a part of his review, Huber examined documents and conferred with federal law enforcement officials in Little Rock who were handling a meandering probe into the Clinton Foundation, people familiar with the matter said. Current and former officials said that Huber has largely finished and found nothing worth pursuing — though the assignment has not formally ended and no official notice has been sent to the Justice Department or to lawmakers, these people said. The effective conclusion of his investigation, with no criminal charges or other known impacts, is likely to roil some in the GOP who had hoped the prosecutor would vindicate their long-held suspicions about a political rival. Trump, though, has largely shifted his focus to a different federal prosecutor tapped to do a separate, special investigation: U.S. attorney in Connecticut John Durham, who Attorney General William P. Barr assigned last year to explore the origins of the FBI’s 2016 probe into possible coordination between the Trump campaign and Russia. What difference does it make?
I like this one, it has to replace all those presidential photos in governmental offices. 2020 will be the second coming.
