Moutinho rested today, along with Patricio (both on the bench). Neves back in the starting line up, with Vinagre and Neto also included.

Jimenez rested with youngster Ashley-Seal deputising (no Cutrone, so it looks like he'll be gone before long).

You are lower iq than i thought. This was the original discussion

Should be obvious the Felix numbers i posted were his in the Portuguese league. So his numbers owned Jotas.

    LOL @ Z

    The
discussion was about this year. SCP clearly was talking about this year's stats, you wanted to change the topic back to fake league stats from last year that you mentioned earlier which nobody cared about because it's a nonsense league.

Your IQ is as low as Felix's numbers this year.

    Strong reading comprehension.

The post he quoted was me showing Jotas stats when he was in Portugal, so it makes no sense for him to reply with Felix stats in Spain.

There is concrete evidence of Felix>Jota. Felix outperformed Jota by a huge margin in the Portuguese league. There is no "fake league" excuse either since Jota played in Porto. If Jota played in a low calibre team like Braga I would accept this excuse as it would clearly be harder to get more goals and assists in Braga, but he played in Porto...so this excuse is already nullified.

Whats even funnier is that Jota played in the same exact team Felix currently is in and Simeone deemed him to be so trash that he didnt play him AT ALL. If Jota is so good why did Atletico try to hard to get rid of him? Why did he produce such abysmal numbers in what you call an easy league? Whats even weirder is that the guy you worship at AGE 23 has 3 goals in 19 PL appearances this season with 0 assists. Felix the guy you hate...has 15 la liga appearances with 1 goal and 2 assists. So both have contributed 3 goals to their clubs league campaigns, but Felix has done it with 4 less appearances and at a younger age.

Maybe you should make a thread on Trincao as a remedy for your FDS

Can anyone on earth actually extrapolate that the post above was in refence to Felix's Benfica stats? No? Me neither

Neto starts today against Newcastle in place of the injured Jota. Otherwise it's pretty much Wolves' settled starting 11, with Moutinho, Neves and Patricio all starting. Vinagre on the bench.

Bruno Fernandes realises he's joined the wrong team and tries to leave Old Trafford with the Wolves players. :D

And this week's Europa League player of the week is...

    https://uelpotw.uefa.com/#/en/

    Jota. :)

Neves' goal was pretty special too, and Neto's shot that hit the woodwork would have been even more spectacular had it gone in.

Neves said that it was only his fourth best goal for Wolves. :D He specialises in the spectacular.

Twenty year old Pedro Neto with an absolutely cracking goal today. The Portuguese national team development program is sitting tied for fifth in England and have a bit of shot at making a champions league spot. Nuno is a genius.

I’m not surprised I’ve been rating Pedro Neto quite highly for years now.

The fact that Nuno starts with Jota and leaves Traore on the bench...

To be fair, I love both players. Jota is a better player as part of a front two. Traore is like a loose cannon, and is impossible to defend against. Jimenez has broken his Premier League scoring record, set last season, and his interplay with both Jota and Traore has been a key factor for this.

As for Neto - this lad is a talent. Hopefully he can continue to improve, but he looks bloody good for his age. He'll play for the Portuguese national team without a doubt.

I love this team. :) I just wish Moutinho was a few years younger.

Not a valid argument. Also Traore has started plenty of games this season.
Traore has almost double the premier league goal contributions jota has. Today you won primarily because of Adama he changed the entire match

    "Not a valid argument"
Watches 1 Wolves Match and is going to tell a fan which player he should consider better.

Traore is having a great season but last year and years prior he was a liability that while explosive made the wrong decision almost every play.

Traore has some great attributes and can change the course of a match when he comes on. He is a great player to watch, and worth the admission fee on his own. He has improved tremendously over the last few seasons, and keeps getting better. However he performs best as part of a front three, and is less effective when played as part of a two man attack, as Wolves have done on many occasions this season. Nuno has often used the 'extra' man in midfield this season, to tighten things up there, especially against teams who intentionally look to stifle our free flowing attacking play.

Jota is comfortable in either formation, and has a great understanding whith Jimenez. Commentator Alan Smith, the former Arsenal and Villa striker, yesterday suggested that they had a better understanding of each other's game than any other partnership in the Premier League, and it's hard to argue with that. Jota is more lethal in from of goal than Traore, and I believe his minutes per goal stat is only bettered by Jimenez in the Wolves squad.

So going back to my comment, when Wolves start with two men up front, Nuno will always pick Jota over Traore, and you will struggle to find a Wolves fan who has a problem with that. When Wolves line up with three up front, both players can be accommodated. Wolves are far more effective going forward with three attackers, and we often switch late on in games when looking for a goal. This is evident by the percentage of goals Wolves score in the last 20 minutes, and this is where Traore really comes into his own, when up against tired players. To be fair to the rest of the squad though, these late goals aren't purely down to Traore. It's a testament to the fitness of a squad that has played more games than any other team in the Premier League this season, and has used fewer players than most of their rivals.

    Is this argument valid? ;)

Funny since whenever i post NUMEROUS (not just one) Atletico fans praising Felix you dismiss it. You always contradict everything you say

There's no doubt Traore is a far more skilled and talented player than Jota. But I feel like Traore is a much more of a set up man, and plays well out wide rather than in the middle as a striker.

Only dude who still tucks his shirt in. Lol. Love it.
