I mean, its a voluntary recall. I didn't have any issues with my Rebulas.

Those of you who have actual experience with the Morelia Neo beta, do you prefer it to MiJ Neo II? I'm just planning which shoes I'll use on the upcoming season. The reviews of Josh and Unisport seemed to be really positive, but it's hard for me to see the advantages compared to the "regular" version.

Haha I know and I agree. But as a boot enthusiastic I'm sure you know the little feeling that you want to test something new, although your current situation with boots is really good.

maybe you should wait for the beta blackout version to be release soon......the faulty issues on the 1st release would have been rectified already

I own the AG version of the Rebula 3 elite. I'm finally enjoying playing in them.

    The good:
The touch is great for me-- very natural, slightly cushioned touch. Excellent controlling and dribbling.

The leather toe box and sides is typical hi quality Mizuno build. The synthetic thru the back half is also nice construction well padded with memory foam in heel.

The fit is slim and tight like my Monarcida jp and provides good lockdown. Toe box is narrow and slightly more pointed than Morelia 2 jp.

    The bad:
The tongue is rubbery and thin-- a real disappointment for both protection and consistent feel. I dont like what they did here--it seems cheap and unfinished. Its a similar effect to nike using flyknit on the tongue-- but due to the cut of the Rebula, much more of the tongue is exposed.

Breakin has been tricky. The tightness plus rough internal material transitions left me with blisters on both small toes. Now a few games in the blisters have stopped.

    good luck!

    Thanks bro!

Argggh, I forgot to mention that I'm looking at the FG version, I saw the AG (the ones with multistuds) at enjoyz review....
The FG has higher toe box.... maybe less cramping on the toes.....
In my experience with rebula v1 1st gen MII, yeah they padding is rather minimal on the upper n tongue

Does anybody have experience with Mizuno Prime Skin variants of Neo or Monarcida?

Looking for something to wear in sloppy winter conditions that wont absorb water like k-leather

I have Neos, but it is a huge difference playing with heavier boots and then having that bare foot feeling, so for that strange reason I prefer a heavier pair of cleats.

I had no idea about this but thanks to you I checked Kohei's blog (with Chrome's translate) and it seems that it has a lot of small changes, all of which hopefully are improvements. And I know some people were hoping much more dramatic changes but I actually like Mizuno's style, hopefully will be a great year for them.

    official annuncements

    1. washable kangaroo upper, not scotchgard, but finest quality ones...vs. other models

    2. better inner lining to prevent excessive stretching

    3. slightly smaller foldover tongue but larger velcro to avoid out of position due to kicking

    4. synthetic used around the collar of heel/mouth are softer, inner heel lining also improved

    5. narrower "mouth" fitting, changed heel cup for better grip/heel-lock

    6. new material insole

well, just my summary.....the link tells the whole stories better

also the short tongue version has better ergonomic design, M8 cross-stitching forefoot available in white only (sad :( )

i hope interesting colors available later for international releases.....well, a white gold will be out soon....

Stick to the regular MIJ version, the Beta aren't worth it!
