Chimy Ávila with a golazo. He's got 8 in 17 matches this season in league play. Quite impressive so far.

Icardi scored again over the weekend. He also had an assist.

De Paul scored a great goal as well. About a 1:20 in.

Alario got a last-minute winner as well.

Icardi's finishing looking more & more like Crespo.

I kind of wish Icardi would get some shots in the NT in Aguero's role.

Maybe, River should bring him back and be the starter!

Man, Otamendi is so bad. It is comical. He needs to be replaced if not before the CA but certainly after. In fact, we’ll need to replace both CB’s.

Aguero started his first game in forever and has to get subbed off because their goalie got red carded in the 10th minute.

The sad part is how many exciting young CBs we have. I really like M Quarta and feel that he should be a starter.

Otamendi needs to be done with the NT NOW.

I still feel that Quarta will start as one of the main CBs with either one of Otamendi/Pezzella playing next to him in the March WC qualifiers. It's just the timing of the Copa Libertadores prevented Quarta to play in both of the Oct and Nov. friendlies.

Yikes Foyth dribbling right into trouble leads to a goal against. That won't endear you with Mourinho.

I think he’s found his feet, he’s made some good plays and defending since.

On the other end of the pitch... I’ll be honest, I know very little about him but it is intriguing. By the way, I don’t think there was an assist there.

Aguero scores today thanks to nobody getting a red card to ruin things.

Escalante might be on his way to Lazio, at least in the summer. There are reports that Lazio has a deal in place to bring him over.

Hat trick for Icardi. 17 goals in 19 matches. Not too bad.

Icardi has always been great finisher. However, he'd need at least 30+ goals to be considered as having outstanding season because its farmer's league.

Appearently, even Di Maria already reached double digits goals this season (all competition) and currently topped the assist table with 8 in league alone.

I wouldn’t mind seeing Scaloni trying a Messi, Icardi and Lautaro partnership. Lautaro and Lukaku are carrying Inter and have a great understanding, perhaps, he can find that with Icardi. A year ago or so, I said Icardi and Lautaro needed to be alone for them to be efficient, however, they both have shown they can play with a partner(s)up front now. Those two upfront with a Messi behind them. The likes of Kun and Dybala can be used as subs.

Lautaro and Messi are going to be starters, that’s not in question right now. But will Scaloni throw in another forward like Kun, Icardi, and Alario to partner up with them is another question.

Plus RDP is another favorite of Scaloni’s and now Palacios will finally be called up and perhaps likely start regularly if he is fit.

It appears we will have high energy guys playing rather than have side ways passing that got us nowhere.

Yes, it is very exciting to think of a starting midfield and forward lines of RDP, Palacios, Paredes, Messi, Lauturo, Icardi.

I fear that Scaloni will stick to Aguero as a starter instead of Icardi. There is not much time to integrate Icardi (no friendly games) plus there are a lot of politics going on behind the scenes that prevent Icardi from even joining the team.

I for one feel Icardi should be a starter. He is our modern day Batistuta/Crespo.

Few years ago when Icardi and Dybala gets a call up for the first time, the NT was in chaotic situation and on the brink of qualification failure, but now we've seen what Dybala is capable off under Scolani and I dont see how great player like Icardi cant make it into his system.

Aguero might still be on form but we all know he's injury prone and the fact that Icardi has never play in major tournament is a no brainer. The guy could have played for Italy and Spain but always stated he only wants to play for Argentina. Nobody should question his commitment.

Lo Celso missed a golden chance to tie the game against Liverpool. :(
