Well, his injury history sure is American, anyway.

Arsenal's going to put out a youth-heavy team in Belgium tomorrow, so if Balogun is healthy, he has a great chance to be in the squad.

It's wild that a youth development league (theoretically, anyway) only allows 5 named subs.

Thanks for updating that. They had a late injury change, so they deleted the original tweet.

Tyreece John-Jules is headed out on loan and it sounds like Eddie Nketiah will as well. Should be lots of U23 minutes available for Balogun on the back end of the season. Here he is training with the first team today:

    https://arseblog.news/2020/01/arsenal-must-do-all-they-can-to-keep-balogun/

Arsenal are determined to keep hold of Balogun, with the 18-year-old possessing immense potential.

In the long term there is likely to be much competition for Balogun as he attempts to make the breakthrough, with Eddie Nketiah and Tyreece John-Jules also determined to succeed at the club.

There is certainly a case, though, to suggest that Balogun has the most potential out of all three, with his all-round game of a very high standard. It is inevitable that Arsenal will lose some top young talents along the way, with some prospects unwilling to wait for their chance to impress for the first-team.
