Di Lorenzo wow he's so good. His workrate is so underrated. Always giving 100%, great pass for Milik's 2nd as well
genk also had 2 chances many other teams would have scored. We are still poorly positioned and weak in defence.
You can say that and it may be a good approximation, but better teams than us have allowed chances like this to a side like Genk. That does not vindicate anything, and maybe it does not put the matter into perspective, but at least it enhances its frame.
If this was Carlo's last game with us, I'm glad he got a good sending off from the fans not whistling him. Positives: Di Lorenzo, Milik, and Zielinski were my 3 picks to be the motm. Di Lorenzo probably the most. Gaetano got his Champions League debut and what does he do? Megs their player as our last man back . At least he got it, the kid plays with such calmness for his age. Negatives: Despite the goal, another poor showing from Mertens. Callejon and Fabian didn't look very good either.
I still think the drop in form in the league wont be this bad and prolong if it wasnt ADL stirring up the shitstorm at the same time. So Carlo is just made the convenient scapegoat. Pity we can never find out how far he can carry us in a UCL competition, a competition that we have never gone far. The haters got what they wish for. Lets see if the next coach will be an improvement.
He needs to go even if the next coach is worst. What happened in terms of performance was unacceptable.
This I can't agree with or even understand bro I'm sorry. This makes it seem you don't care as much about Napoli as you do about being right that we shouldn't have fired Sarri (Which I agree with you about) This kinda emphasizes my point.
I wish Carlo well, it's a shame things turned out the way they did but I don't hate him as a person. We move forward with Rino and must try everything in our power to regain our status as one of the main superpowers of Italian football
He'll start hating Gattuoso now. Simply because his name is not Sarri. Just watch Seriously life will be so much better for him as a Juve fan. Or where ever his Idol / God will be.
I am not so sure about this as long as that Old Bastard is still incharged. I will be happy with top 4 at this stage. I dont think we can make a good run in UCL with Carlos gone.
We will find out our opponent of the R16 on Monday. It will be one of: Barcelona, Bayern, Leipzig, Man City, PSG, or Valencia. Despite Juventus and Liverpool winning their groups we can't be drawn with someone we played in the group stage or hailing from the same nation. I just hope it's not Barca or Man City.
All our efforts should be focused on the league and climbing up the table. We need to win 9 or 10 games in a row to stand a chance of getting top 4 Couldn't give a crap about the CL tbh, only way we get far in this competition is with a new owner
To close out the first round of fixtures we have Parma (Home) Sassuolo (Away) Inter (Away) Lazio (Away) Hopefully we can take at least 9 points from these games. This means that in the 2nd half of the season, Juventus, Roma, Lazio, Inter and Milan all need to come to Napoli.
Not true. Reality is the problem is ADL. But as long as Gattuso fights and does not act as cushion for ADL, he will have my support. My preferred option for next year is Gasperini but we all need to support Gattuso and hope he can turn this around. This will also show if players have really dropped in form or not which is critical even if we want to sell them.
