Exciting, yes. Great for a neutral? Not really.

Boring first half. Exciting from there. I defended the Stanford Keeper earlier....now, not so much. Celebrating like a punk when a u10 keeper could’ve made both of those saves. Not a fan

That was a good no-call by Tori Penso and in real time I was willing to trust her with it. But on the whole, she's allowing way too much physical play favoring North Carolina. 3 or 4 yellow cards should've come out in the 1st half alone.

Only if they guessed the right way. She is an emotional kid. You either like it or hate it. Can we pump the brakes on some of the players in this game? Yes, talented, but a lot more work to do.

I thought it was pretty good. Fast paced, lot of good, talented play at pace and the intensity is high. Of course you can't compare talent-level across the pitch to senior international teams or, say, NWSL but the intensity and drama make for a good game

Incredibly immature GK for Stanford. She embarrassed them yesterday, and did not learn from it. She came back and did it again today. The opposite of her coach, who is all class. The Stanford GK compelled me to root for UNC. Otherwise I was neutral. I could not support that immaturity at this level.

do you really thing the team or coach was embarrassed ? They won, so whatever she did will be excused. By the way, what she "did" was pretty mild in comparison to some things we have seen throughout the course of the year.

Yes, I do think the team was embarrassed by her yesterday, and will likely be today. That is why they grabbed her right away after her UCLA chest pumping. And, the Stanford coach is a class act. I am sure he will have a few words for her. Stanford stands for better than that. She needs to grow up.

Incredible effort by UNC. They played fantastic defense for 110 minutes against an extremely talented and relentless offense. They switched their game plan and formation and adapted perfectly. I am very confused on why TH, a freshman that never plays, was slotted to take a PK. I am sure statistically at practice she does well, but this is a National championship, she sat cold for 110 minutes, and she took a poor pk. Meyer's act on Friday was classless, but tonight was fun to watch. Her confidence and mentality saved three pk's this weekend.

Plays for who? Clicks for ESPN? Not what I am talking about. I am talking about a world class university and a classy coach. She represents both poorly. My opinion, and shared by a large group of people I was watching with.

Having read the details from Friday's GK saga, I'm betting the UCLA fan who was riding her during Friday's game was back at it today. In that context, I thought her "Zip it" was pretty hilarious.

Years ago, the Portland Pilots and Santa Clara Broncos had a donnybrook in Portland. SCU had a right defender Chardonnay Poole and the U of P Villa Drum Squad were on her case mercilessly (but not over the line) the entire second half when she was on their side of the field. When the game was over with SCU winning, she walked over, gave them a big smile, and then flipped them off. It was hysterical.

Oh look, ESPN caring about women’s NCAA soccer only when they want to showcase dumb immature behavior from women...sounds about right.

Plays for enough people to balance what you or I think. I bet that tweet gets more likes than most reporting on the actual game. Time have changed. Brash arrogant behavior in sports is everywhere. Im not a fan but its pointless railing against it now. Winning makes almost all behaviors acceptable to most.
