For years, Montpellier has been the "third force" of French League after OL and PSG: Bordeux's win is quite symbolic and it could mean that they're seriously intentioned to take their place for this season. Right now, already, they're the only other team at 9 points after three match-days along with OL and PSG indeed.

30K shown up for the big Lyon / PSG rivalry, but trying to find film coverage of the match is a whole different story. Here's the one goal of the game Lyon vs. PSG - All Goals - D1 Arkema (16th November 2019) - YouTube scored by SAKI! after the game I wondered if they celebrated with SAKE! or if those 30K fans looking mighty cold & wishing they could be drinking some SAKE!
Beyond her goal, it was a real masterclass by Kumagai yesterday. So happy for her after her last hard season.

suckers.........when Seattle Reign decided to sell their club to Lyon, they thought they'll be able to get of some of Lyon's humongous talent to over. Looks like the other way around though, lol Lyon poised to purchase Catley, Rapinoe's Reign FC

I notice Khadija "Bunny" Shaw keeps scoring: being only second to Hegerberg right now, at her debut season in France, looks like nothing to sneeze at.
If I had to choose the best D1F player right now I'll be voting for Shaw. She sits second at best scorer and 3rd as the most assists. We will see how it turns out for her. No doubt she will compete for the UNFP Trophy at the end of the season. She is the kind of striker the french league needs. Clubs must think about recruiting or raising stronger and faster defenders like how they did at EA Guingamp : Mansuy - Hudson - Gevitz. I am looking forward for this week-end clash between PSG and Montpellier. I will attend the game as I will be passing through Paris. I just hope the cold won't dampen enthusiasm of both players and attendances.
Lyon have sealed the D1 Feminine title this week-end. We are half-way through the season and it is already game over. PSG are in poor form, while Montpellier and Bordeaux are not competitive enough yet to win the title. #D1Arkema J11 : le classement5 points d'avance pour l'OL à mi-parcours pic.twitter.com/wx71JLthKg— footofeminin (@footofeminin) December 8, 2019 At least, next season will be more fun with the third place team going to the Champions League Round 1, while the Runner-up will go to Round 2 and the winner to the Group stage.
Not only that, PSG opens up the race for the 2nd place Bordeaux being 2 pts behind!! PSG will have to fight hard in order to win in both Bordeaux and Montpellier soils. Paris and Lyon are the kind of teams trained to peak on March anyway. I will keep saying my love of Sakina Karchaoui. She is such a very good player, very exciting and fun to watch. I am certain she will be one of the best fullback in Europe and I am glad she finally gets her spot in the FRWNT. I used to say Majri was the female Marcello (or should I say 'Marcella') now FRWNT has 2! On one hand I would like to see her come to PSG on the other hand it's nice that she sticks to her first club. Talents in France need to be spread out amongst teams ready to afford them. Like how the team greeted 'Saki' as much as Lena Petermann

Sara Dabritz injured her cruciate ligaments against Montpellier. We don't know if it is the full ACL break or just a partial one.
