Some of the 99 born selections have surprised me a little. Bolton & Slattery have been a bit in no man's land. Is Tavernier CM ? Ferguson definitely had a tough time of it every time he has played CB internationally. Been awesome in either full back position for WBA though. Can imagine if this Czech team is physical then the ball could be struggling to stick with a front 3 of Gomes, Poveda and Leko. I would say for Leko right now he needs a physical strike partner if playing through the middle.
From the sounds of the match report we had a lot of the ball but were just unable to create any real opportunities and we apparently had a stonewall penalty denied. The Czech opener was supposedly an incredible goal too.
It's a level for experimenting but it often seems to veer into just having no plan and just trying to fulfil the fixtures with whichever 20 players they first think of.

1-0. Gomes feeds Campbell and he slots it away. Pitch is looking awful. Cuts up very easily & the ball is completely stopping in places.
Gomes slipped Tyrese Campbell through nicely and finished with a nice low shot across goal. Always thought Tyrese is like a stronger Daniel Sturridge. Not exactly loads of Portuguese stars. Cardoso just signed for West Ham. Not sure where Pedro Alvaro, Tiago Dantas , Rafa Camacho , Goncalo Ramos are.
That second goal shouldn't stand, surely? I thought the penalty-taker couldn't score from a saved effort any more.
