No. He signed an upgraded contract early this year that would last until 2024. Tottenham has no reason to sell him.
Son's only making 150K a week. Peanuts for someone of his caliber. A has-been player like Bale is making 600K a week. In a decent ball club, Son should be making close to 300K a week. His agent hasn't been doing a good enough job. If this team doesn't make top 4, Son has to move. I would hate to see him wasted on a mid-table team.
Lol, finding one overpaid player doesn't mean that Son is getting paid too little. By that logic, Son must be a grossly overpaid player since Trent Alexander-Arnold is getting paid 40k a week. Even Sergio Aguero, who scored at least 20 goals a season for the past 5 seasons in the Premier League, earns around 200-250k a week. Son is making a good salary, that's why he signed a long contract until 2024.
🇰🇷 🌟 Two goals and a @ChampionsLeague Player of the Week nomination for Sonny. 🏆 Let's get voting! 👇 #UCL ⚪️ #COYS— Tottenham Hotspur (@SpursOfficial) November 7, 2019
According to Goal, our guy Son is ranked the 14th best player in the world!! Very proud and only up for him! Link: https://www.goal.com/story/goal-50-2019/index.html
Tottenham star Son Heung-min could push for a move away from Spurs during the summer transfer window, if manager Mauricio Pochettino also leaves the club, fans have been warned. https://www.express.co.uk/sport/foo...ws-son-heung-min-transfer-mauricio-pochettino
Pochettino fired. Spurs site has crashed due to too many people trying to access, but I saw a screenshot before it crashed. "The Club can today announce that Mauricio Pochettino and his coaching staff Jesus Pere, Miguel D'Agostino and Antoni Jimenez have been relieved of their duties. Chairman, Daniel Levy, said: "We are extremely reluctant to make this change and it is not a decision the Board has taken lightly, nor in haste."
I think it had clearly run its course. Poch is a great manager, but his time at Spurs was clearly done. Best to probably just rip the band-aid off now. That said, the real issue here is that Poch is the only good manager Levy has ever hired, so get ready for a shitty replacement incoming.
getting sacked during the intl break must be weird as there isn't closure or goodbyes between the players and the manager
Mourinho has stated he wants the Spurs job if it came available. However, he must be delusional because Levy is not the person to hand him big amounts of money to splash on the transfer market.
There's still serious problems at Spurs and their willingness to spend money. They've been lucky to be able to sign some key players on the cheap, but they are not going to get away with that anymore.
Part of that was Pochettino's doing. Levy offered him players, but Pochettino only wanted his top targets.
BREAKING: Representatives of Tottenham and Jose Mourinho are this evening locked in negotiations for the Portuguese to replace Mauricio Pochettino.— Sky Sports News (@SkySportsNews) November 19, 2019 noooooo
Well Mourinho has publicly declared his love for Eriksen on TV so will he try to block a disgruntled demotivated Eriksen who wants out ASAP?
Hmmm I never thought I'd see this. SHM playing under Mourinho. I feel that he'll either take him to the next level to be a World Class player, or break him into a thousand pieces. All emotion aside, Mourinho's proven winner. Even with that shyte Man United team, he still won trophies. He'll probably be the one to finally bring silverware back to Tottenham, even if that means parking the bus.
