    Bürki
    Hakimi Akanji Hummels Schulz
    Weigl Witsel
    Sancho Brandt Hazard
    Götze

Reus and Alcacer on the bench.
Let's hope for a better showing in comparison to our recent catastrophes in Munich. Going into the halftime break with the game still open would already be an improvement. I expect our defense to struggle against their fast wingers and Lewa, of course. Bayern on the other side are missing several of their CBs and had to reshuffle their defense.
While their offense is of high quality, their first 11 in this game isn't something that should make us play scared but this season with Bayern you never know whether you'll meet their good or lacklustre variant.

Would like to see Guerrero there, instead of Hazard

How long are we going to let this incompetent manger ruin the team. Bayern had the right idea and sacked a manager who was not good enough.

I am tired of seeing the same mistakes again.

    1. Gotze upfront meaning we have nobody to stretch the play, which allows to push up and press our midifeld
    2. No Dahoud and Witsel playing when we have seen time and time again he has kot got the ability to play against top teams.

    3. Sitting off teams and letting them attack us.

Now it gets worse with Sancho off.

We have the international break and now we can sack him and bring someone else in.

Bayern with the relatively early lead. We had a decent start but haven't shown anything after their goal. Guerreiro subbed in early for Sancho who was poor, maybe because of his injury.

1:0 at the half for Bayern. They used their first good sequence to score and after that we should feel lucky that we are only down by 1.

What was visible from the start is that we struggle against pressing teams. So many possessions eventually came to Bürki who then had to blast it out under pressure with no one to play to, almost always to someone in red. It's nothing new, of course, but it still raises the question when you try to find solutions to play it better than that.

We had to burn a sub early as well. Not sure Sancho should have started if there were doubts and he wasn't at 100%. His side with Hakimi was wide open and repeatedly overrrun with ease.

It's 2-0 and easily being overrun. A very easy victory for a Bagern team missing half their centre backs.

Kinmich and Goretzka like everyone team destroyed our midfield.

A teenage winger was playing left back.

    Just no depth.. Zero.

As little as Paco has played im shocked he couldnt start today.

I swear I hate our manager.

Alcacer could have scored there. If only we could have tested that defense more. In addition to the rookie on LB, they also have to use a LB/midfielder for his country as CB. But we usually just give away the ball and destroy most promising situation.

We have plenty of depth and options.

Play Hazard upfront because we need speed to push Bayern back.

Play Dahoud in midfield. Actually have the team press.

It's just an awful performance from a clueless manager. He needs to be sacked now

3-0... I always expect a lost to be the most plausible outcome with LF as manager, whatever team we face... So no surprise here. Still surprised of the Milan result...

Yes we should be happy with the Inter result. It keeps us with a great chance in the CL. Sack Favre hire Mourinho and we can compete on all fronts.

We are in disarray and it looks like yet another humiliation. 1:0 at the half flattered us and now it looks like a repeat of those 5 or 6 goal defeats.

We get embarrassed by most top teams like Tottenham and Bayern.

Not that Kovac had a great season and 3 out of the last 4 league games weren't wins. But he was sacked after a 5:1 defeat with 10 men.

this club screwed up by not getting a striker,
I swear I sound like a jerk but Goetze has no business in a match like this and the fact they are trying to extend him in contract tells me how dumb the board members are.

Not sure what it is. Bayern often seem to have their best game of the season against us and we are shitting bricks when we have to play them. Maybe one of the few games of the league season they really take serious.
Teams with far inferior talent manage to do better or even get results.

Shots were 17-2 (no shots on target!!). They have more goals then we have shots!! Says it all!! Against the worse Bayern (stats wise at least) team in years too...

I don't know if they up their game against us, because I don't watch them regularly.

But from our side, it's mental weakness. It was clear in the players body language.

No one moves, Bayern press. There are no available passes to make. Lost ball.

Also, stupidest decision was not get a backup striker. Everyone could see that miles away at the beginning of the season. Freakin' even a backup striker of a mid-table team on loan would have worked.

Hakimi has been man of the season, and this game he was terrible.

Brandt stopped running. If this is his stamina level, play 60-minute games, then we should be playing Dahoud more often.

I just needed to vent. Time to try to have a weekend now.

Yes, Hakimi was invisible, mostly because of Alphonso Davis who had a fantastic game. But so had the whole Bayern team. Also surprised how we could outplay Inter, and perform like schoolboys against men tonight. No further comments about LF

Favre: "Bayern were much better. We weren't good, that was a disappointment. We weren't scared, they were better, they were good with their possession. They were much faster processing the ball than us. We almost lost every ball in the first 25 minutes."

Ignoring that eloquent analysis for a moment, he sounds like someone who has never seen Bayern play before.

Starting with Tuchel, these are our results in Munich: 1:5, 1:4, 0:6, 1:5, 0:4. We've become a joke for them, almost Hamburg level performances.
I can't believe that management can be happy with all the money that got invested this season to basically get the same result.

Unless it's Wenger or Mou there's a shortage of capable coaches in Europe right now so much so that Bayern is promoting from within due to lack of options and Barcelona Arsenal Man U are sticking with their coaches. Allegri can't speak German or English.

If it's a mentality issue, hire a team of sport shrinks to address it instead of relying on Tuchel, Bosz or Favre to do it and calling them soft when we lose lmao. BVB has money and can outsource sport psychology to the pros, it's not as if Klopp is the oniy coach on Earth who can motivate us so if he leaves the team's mentality goes to shit until he returns like some fans pray daily for. Learned helplessness to rely on a coach to fix mentality when the players' mentality has to be 100% whoever the coach is, like Bayern today sad to say.

I know it would never happen but the coach at RBSalzburg would be a great style to watch with our guys.

Seems that Leipzig are monitoring him for their coach if the current Leipzig coach ever gets snuffed up
