I particularly love how EJ has transitioned into what seems to be a pretty kick ass coach. Would love if Freddy unexpectedly did the same. We'll only get better with better coaches and our best coaches will be former players.
Freddy has a 1 second video cameo at the African American museum in DC. There is a continuous film loop on top floor in Cultural Expression exhibit and Freddy gets flashed up there in an action photo from his DC United days. So, he’s got that going for him.
I didn't know EJ was doing coaching! I looked it up and found an SI article from 2018, where I saw this amazing video. I should find a more appropriate thread to post it, but that 6 year old kid has killer ball skills. Good work, EJ!
I did it for his birthday last year. As we are in Chicago I had Danielle Calaprico who is a midfielder for the Red Stars do it. It made his week.
