Ralf Rangnick, Erik ten Hag, Arsène Wenger and Max Allegri are on Bayern Munich’s list of possible candidates to replace Niko Kovač.

Rangnick is the frontrunner for the job, and is interested, but is currently under contract as the head of sport and development at Red Bull. Bayern discussed appointing Rangnick at the end of last season but decided to keep faith in Kovač

Wenger is another candidate, possibly until the end of the season, as he is held in very high regard by the Bayern board and is a fluent German-speaker. Bayern are likely to look for experience after the Kovač appointment backfiring

ten Hag is another candidate. He knows Bayern well since a spell as coach of their second team between 2013 and 2015. Bayern know they have no chance of getting the 47-year-old Dutchman now but could try in January or at the end of the season.

Allegri is a further name that is interesting Bayern but they are wary of appointing another non-German speaker after Carlo Ancelotti’s difficulties. Allegri may still have a chance to get the job, however, as he is represented by Giovanni Branchini, who is trusted by the club.

Finally, José Mourinho has been linked with the job but is currently not one of the candidates to replace Kovač at the moment. Uli Hoeneß, for one, does not want Mourinho at Bayern

lol seems like Wenger could end up with job by default.

I think we should let Flick take care of the rest of the season and then bring in Ten Hag.

seems like Allegri is reported out as he wants the year off. Rangnick and ten Hag seem unlikely until Summer. Doesn't leave lots of options, I think for Flick to get the job all season will depend on the Olympiackos CL game and Dortmund, if he does well in those 2 games could increase his chances for more games.

unless, Uli goes and begs like a beggar for another round of Jupp.

Leipzig continue their strong form into CL competition and on the road in Russia too.

Dortmund are trash. 3rd place and Europa would actually be more suitable for them.

Dortmund is worse than trash. They will lose home and away to Inter.

Wether it's the CL last 16 or the EL last 32, Dortmund will go no further.

Favre's track record speaks for itself, has never advanced from a knockout round.

Bayern wins 2-0 vs Olympiakos (should have been much higher too) and advances to the next round in CL. That was Bayern's 1st clean sheet since a 4-0 win over Koln on Sept 21. LOL

and Bayern played a LB Alaba in CB with a DM Martinez as his partner.

while Kovac beat this same team 3-2, lol.

if bayer can hold this 2-0 lead over Atletico Madrid, 4/4 German clubs won this week in CL.

let's hope Dortmund, bayern and RB make next round while Bayer manage at least EL.

Frankfurt lose to Standard Liege after a last minute goal conceded. They slip to third place as Liege have the advantage and sit in a position at risk of being eliminated.

Wolfsburg trailing Genk at home 1-2

    Monchengladbach tying Roma at home

They could all be in trouble is results don't go their way

when I look at Frankfurt XI and see only 2 Germans and then the club embarrassing themselves in EL vs Belgian club LOL.
    Result 2-1 LOSS.

when I look at Wolfsburg XI and see only 2 Germans and then the club embarrassing themselves in EL vs another Belgian club, lol.
    down 2-1 74 min in.

and a good remainder why I wonder why some German youngsters don't go to Belgium to dev instead of playing lower level in German leagues like RL-2BL instead of going to a 1st division. Where they play young players and even Europe too.

and more remainder that smaller leagues are catching up. Both games are Belgian clubs.
