CP starts yet again as he is in fine form, will not be tasked with burning Dest as Mazraoui gets the nod over him. Big Champions League game for each squad. Let's go, boys.

Personally would rather see CP come off the bench in this one. AJAX is going to be front foot to start and Chelsea hate to defend. Better he saves a point rather than becomes a defensive liability. Hope I'm wrong though.
I think opposite. This is be a very open and fast pace games from minute 1, I think Pulisic can score early, and then get sub out in the last 15-20minutes. Chelsea does have a habit of giving up late goals.
Ajax is going to stretch Alonso thin and Pulisic will probably find himself tracking back quite a bit today. Should be an open game I'd expect Ajax to be looking for a win.
NOt sure why Ajax would be out looking for a win. Away game, against a strong team, and they are tied on points. This is probably the last place they would be expecting to get 3 points from, and I would expect a counter attacking gameplan. This might be a frustrating night for our boy at the Bridge.
Not sure I get your meaning but I'm not stereotyping anyone. The situation they are in would suggest, IMO, a counter-attacking gameplan. Chelsea will be pushing for a goal at home, Ajax would benefit from denying them a win keeping them tied on points. So it would reason that they might sit a little deeper and use their pace to hit them on the break when possible.
Good discussion. Does Ajax play for the point and grind results to get out of the group or do they play regular Ajax attacking football?
Chelsea's offense is better than its defense. I think you try to outscore them or at least try to get a 1-1 or 2-2. I wouldn't want to concede lots of possession to Chelsea and shoot for 0-0.
ah yea forgot jorginho is suspended for the next domestic game. makes even more sense to start him then and let Kante work back in slowly.
Does TNT even watch Chelsea? They showed a 4-3-3 with Puli at RW and Willian at RM? Lol. Like that would make any sense given how Chelsea's lined up recently. And of course two secs into the match Puli is at LW and Willians at RW. Imagine that.
Play by play man sounds like a grandpa reading s bedtime story to his grandkid. Might fall asleep. Wow 1 - 0 Ajax
