As you say, another important under-appreciated thing that Willian, amidst the criticism, does well and keeps him playing.

Ess was a master of that, loved watching him rampage and terrorize defenses

Though losing Tomori, Mount and Wilson huuuuggge losses, rebuilding Derby and keeping them in Top 6, apparently not as easy as it looked, though tbf, although in 15th only 4 points out of 5th

I mean you just named 3 of their best players from last year. 2 out of 3 for the highest goal scorers. You could also note that Holmes who played a large role in the second half the season for them missed the beginning of this season due to injury. He’s just now coming back. I’m kinda sad Derby didn’t make it up. I’d like to see them and Leeds back in the EPL.

yes that was my point, indicated by the use of the term "huuuuggge" but tbf Lamp was the one that selected and got them there, partly because young players know he is Supah, and he mostly rebuilt the squad, taking the average age of the starters down several years. Many harp that he did not improve Derby to nip at him, as they were 6th a year before, but he rebuilt the squad and how they played and, the owner and most Derby fans greatly appreciated the new look.

I don't like how Derby just fired and ********ed over their injured for a year Captain, who was in the back seat even if he should have known better at his age), so they are off my soft spot list, and well just eternally fuuuuuuccckk Leeds

For the record. Leeds are just fine right where they are, being a big side in the Championship.

What can I say, I’m not english, I don’t hold the same hatred for them. Plus I’m a fan of Bielsa. I’d like to see him coach in the EPL.
