I expect to see him on the bench for his 1st game... subbing in during the 2nd half. He then starts his 2nd game and is subbed out mid-way thru the 2nd half... then he is going the full 90 on the regular.

I'd put money on the following-following-following weekend for his return, tbh.

For Adams sake, please don't take any calllups from Greg for the November matches. Stay in Germany and let his boy trapp and Bradley play.

If an extra week is needed to really kick this injury and get back to 100%, then it's well worth it.

Everything about that team is snakebit... Adams needs to regain his starting role with Leipzig and leave that trainwreck alone for the time being.

Isn't this true for every player returning from injury, or finding playing time hard to come by?
Nats duty is the cherry on the sundae, but club is the actual sundae. Without the ice cream and other toppings, the cherry is kind of pointless. It sure doesn't pay the bills. Stupid cherry.
BTW, Adams has been dealing with a knock on his soul? That is brutal, but we all undertand that in these troubling times. I mean, aren't we all?
He's got 10 games before the winter pause, so a total of 900 minutes are possible Math is involved, so I may be wrong). I'd think the over/under line for sucess versus disappointment would be around 450. I expect him to work his way into Nagelsmann's heart and lineup, but the side isn't sucking in his absense so it will take a while for him to cement himself in. Still, great news.

That's something many fail to understand: you cannot expect a guy who was out for 2 months or longer, who has just played in a couple of games, to cross the ocean for NT duty. The man is still recovering match fitness.

I hope they wait until Tyler is 100%. The main reason for recurring injuries is when they allow the guy to return too soon. Sure, the player himself will be demanding his chance to get back in the team ASAP, but that's why they got doctors with the authority to sit him.

Which assumes a national team manager is feeling nice and comfy in the gig. He shouldn't be on the nats radar until after the winter pause.

We were denied the Adams vs. JAB, but got 27 minutes of Pulisic vs. Yedlin.

yedlin robbed Pulisic of an assist. Quite unsportsmanlike.

Some words re: Adams from Nagelsmann at Press Conference today:

Nagelsmann: Adams gestern zu Teilen im Mannschaftstraining. "Bin sehr froh, dass er zurück ist. Echte Frohnatur." Zwei Wochen lang soll er integriert werden und anschließend voll dabei sein. Ruhig angehen lassen, damit man keine muskulären Probleme riskiert. "Wäre sinnbefreit, ihn jetzt schon in alles reinzuwerfen." "Wird uns sehr gut tun, wenn er wieder da ist."

    Google translates:
Nagelsmann: Adams yesterday to parts in the team training. "I'm very glad he's back. He should be integrated for two weeks and then be fully involved. Take it easy, so you do not risk any muscular problems. "Would be senseless to throw it into everything now." "Will do us a lot of good when he comes back."

    In training today:

Serious Rep for you Allende72 for finding and google translation. Great news... but waiting another two weeks to see him play after this kind of delay is brutal. Understandable... but brutal nonetheless. Hope this will officially end the Adams drought. I have had serious withdrawal symptoms. He is my favorite USMNT player.

Thanks. Yeah I try to track the Leipzig twitter for any mention of him. Saw that photo of him and knew there had to be some story about his reappearance. At least now there's a better chance of his showing up in training photos. Got the quote from a news site, https://rblive.de/--all about RB Leipzig.

Pretty much Diego Demme 27, been with the club a bunch of years. He's the most like-for-like but I remember him playing with Tyler last season, possibly when Kampl was injured. I think they have a lot of really capable midfielders it's just a matter of who is healthy. Demme was close to a transfer to a Serie A club this summer but RB needed him and it didn't go through.

Between to nearly equivalent players, where one is likely to get injured for a month or two, and the other never does, a club will favor the latter. So Tyler better doesn't get injured again any time soon.

Tyler was one of the best CDMs in the Bundesliga at 19... IMO, they have no near equivalent players at that position.... especially when you take ceilings into account. But he is going to need to stay healthy and win his place back. The length of this hiatus has led to some speculation concerning whether he is fragile or not.... but a lot of players get significant injuries that put them out for a long time... Gotta hope that Tyler makes this all just a bad memory by the time the holidays roll around.

The half life of spam on these forums is about 3 minutes.

They should choose a less popular sport. Spam the field hockey forums, no one will notice for days!
