Well, apparently the pun has to go along well with a 9-1 loss at the debut in the league. Ok, Barcelona is a Champions' League finalist and Tacón is ("somehow") a newly promoted team, but these days not even OL beats French League's minnows by 9-1 scores. I mean, maybe a team that's anyway sporting Kosovare Asllani, Sofia Jakobsson and Chioma Ubogagu as its overseas starting stars could at least "try" to do a little better, shouldn't it?
Goodness. Check out that Tacon backline. Pushed up nearly to the halfway line waiting to get exploited. That would be embarrassing even at U14 level.
Inexcusable. Maybe they were thinking they could play on parity with Barcelona (and this would be already cocky from them), but maybe, after 4-0 or such, they could have moved to a lower back-line in 2nd half, couldn't they? It's not like they would have any chance to tie the game anyway, at that point... For records, one of the goals seemed off-side to me, but I am not sure about the rule: Barça's player was initially off-side by dozens of meters, but the action was happening on the opposite side so she was ignored by the referee. Later in the action, though, she received the ball in front of the goal and she scored: I am not sure she could have been there if she hadn't started way ahead of Tacón's defense-line. Shame that we can't even see lonely Tacón's goal in these highlights.
They did try hard, but it's a new team and working in process, the backline obviously needs work. I've watched nearly all the warmup matches of CD Tacon and know it's a long way to go.

CD Tacon strengthen their defense (which they seem to need badly): https://therealchamps.com/2019/09/11/cd-tacon-officially-signs-defender-osinachi-ohale/
I don't know if you've figured this out already, but that's always onside assuming Hermoso was behind the ball on the pass, which she seemed to be. She was never involved in the play while she was in an offside position. On another note, Barcelona was classic Barcelona today. Dropping two points when they should have gotten all three.
Don't bury the lede BIG STORY Barça in shocking shocker This video may stun everyone "Rayo Vallecano 1-1 Barça Women: They deserved more" - https://www.fcbarcelona.com/en/videos/1346660/rayo-vallecano-1-1-barca-women-they-deserved-more "Despite dominating the game from start to finish, Barça Women only had a Jenni Hermoso penalty to show for their efforts" - (FCB) ... yeah, it's OTT, but these things come along so rarely. Barcelona only dropped points in 5 games last season, all against lesser teams – they rose to the big occasions like the Atlético Madrid clashes (won both) and Champions League semi-finals (won home and away). But Atlético won every other league game they played, and that was what put them above Barça. I'm trying to find out the name of the Rayo player who did the dive-and-roll to win a penalty, I'll name and shame a.s.a.p. UNRELATED P.S., SUBSCRIBE TO THE LIGA MX FEMENIL THREAD FOR MORE SHOCKS

my LOL was for two reasons(not just the lopsided score on her debut) but there used to be two German posters on BS who swore that Babett "Schlecht" is one of the worst defenders they've ever seen..............on the chart I posted of the game, the opposing player with the hat trick came right through her side that she's supposedly defending anyways, I've read somewhere last week, Megan Rapinoe wants to play for Barca, any updates?
When last season Barcelona was starting Duggan over Oshoala it was outright crazy! As seen in the WWC, Oshoala can be a veritable game-changer, while the English FW isn't. Players don't know what to invent to celebrate a goal: after the "cup of tea" celebration from Morgan at the WWC, we now have the "gulping" celebration from Oshoala! Did she borrow it from some men's player I am not aware of, or did she create it by herself? Meanwhile, Caroline Graham-Hansen is of course from another planet: did you have my same impression that, in the action of the last goal, she expressely aimed at the opponent DF to have the ball rebound in goal? Anyway, Barça's utter dominance vs the reigning champions of Atletico Madrid was really impressive and you really have to wonder if this year Barcelona can actually successful challenge OL for the Champions' League title. Of course, Atletico Madrid made it hard for themselves. I am not sure the PK was really due, but their defending was anyway awful in the actions of the other goals; and, although by then the game was already compromised, Tounkara was really naive: you don't make a so obvious professional foul under the ref's eyes when you're sitting on a yellow!
Another loss for Tacon... and yet another goal for Asllani. She's certainly doing her best to try propping up the team. I wonder if she's questioning the move.
As you rightfully said above, probably right now CD Tacón is not really "a team", but just a collection of players without a real purpose.
Depends, she probably know what is wrong and if the Coach or Management is working on it she is probably fine with it. If they are not and not listening to her advice (when she gives it probably not long from now if she has not already) she probably do.
