What's the "criteria" for deserving? TBH, as much as I like Suk.. he hasn't shown much for KNT as a whole (youth & senior team). Is he doing well with his club atm? That isn't the case either... I think very little of Kim HB as manager but if Suk doesn't fit with him.. is it required he be selected, only to be.. more or less a bystander (think of the last olympics). Only 18 can go to Olympics... more about selecting well rounded 18 players over selecting players based on "military exemption need" imo (at the same time, do we know his status? he is still playing in Ligue 1).
@takeuchi Yeah, I do see your point. I also hear you on Suk's contributions for the KNT being embarrassingly low for a player of his caliber and I kinda wonder whether his personality/demeanor gets in the way of his ability to play/gel on a team long term. If I remember correctly, his previous club team was angry at the way he left and called him unprofessional. Sucks (no pun intended) that his career might end up not being what it could've been

It’s still up in the air but it’s looking less and less likely unfortunately. So annoying hopefully AFC does something about it. Either they allow broadcasting the match or threaten to suspend the match til November and be played outside the peninsula
