What are you talking about? He’s going to Sint Truiden playing in Belgian Pro League. Most likely scenario: agents spread BS transfer rumour, no one is interested, so he moves to the only team that is making an offer.
ofcourse it's all speculation...I cannot confirm if the interest in JL is legit or not...nor any from any other leagues. they only one I've read was from the Belgian side. have you heard that indeed that is where he's going?
Remember you rated Lee much higher than Doan? Today Lee signed for STVV and Doan for PSV. Clearly they see something you dont. But I hope Lee impresses and returns to the bigger scene.
A Korean company bought AFC Tubize but they got relegated from the Belgian 2nd Division last season. STVV doing much better at the goal of being an Asian showcasing club

What's up with LSW and clubs that wear Yellow & Blue? I suspect if the pattern continues he will transfer to FC Rostov.
https://www.voetbalbelgie.be/voetbalnieuws/seung-woo-lee-nog-niet-inzetbaar-bij-stvv/2019/09/13/ Apparently, he still has to get his paperwork sorted out before he can play
It seems LSW and PSH start everything from scratch now. They were formed at La Masia but can't join a Top 5 league club while some K-league players did it directly.
Being formed in La Masia is still more useful for a football player than being formed in Suwon Bluewings for example.
tbf to both, they technically did. Lee SW to Verona and PSH to Girona... both were in 1st div when they joined, granted.. for PSH, he was shipped immediately to the reserves.
Yes they did, "technically". LSW played most of his time in Serie B while PSH played something like 5 games (?) in la Liga. Now they're in second-hand leagues, while some Korean players had rather successful careers in top leagues (directly coming from K league). That's my point.
bit harsh toward Lee SW & Paik SH don't you think? considering thousands of players over the past 10 yrs, I can only count 5 who directly moved to top league in Europe from K League (Ji DW, Koo JC, Lee CY, Hong JH and Kwon CH). i mean, they are still in Europe... challenging themselves when others can only dream of a move (lets face it, movement from Korean players to Europe is rare).
How I've been harsh exactly? Basically, in other words, La Masia didn't help them much considering they directly could have joined Belgian League or Bundesliga 2 from K league. Yes, you can only count 5 players hence the use of the word "some". And they are more than only 5 players having joined Europe but it doesn't matter. For the last part, again, I'm not blaming them for playing in such leagues but we have to admit we expected better. I feel like I am explaining a revolutionary theory while these are just facts...
Sorry, this is the issue with forums. It came off as negative based on my view.. especially when you mentioned "top 5 league" blah blah stuff. As for only 5, I mentioned them.. again, because of "top 5 league" stated by you. Could, possibly.. but again, extremely rare. Lee JS won K League titles & ACL but could only join BL2 club in mid 20s. Others like Hwang HC.. moved to Austria first on reserve/youth contracts. I disagree on La Masia didn't help them "much" part. La Masia .. the "brand" alone probably got them contracts and more opportunities in EU compared to whatever they could receive if they started from K League. Anyways, they just started their careers as 1st team. Gotten them exposure with KNT senior team & potentially long career in Europe.
Lee SW never had much of a talent to begin with. His technical skill level is very low. If you're going to be small, you're technical level has to be very high. The other problem is, he never made an effort to improve his strength. He still looks like a fifteen year old kid suffering from anorexia. This guy can't hardly hit the ball with any force. His vision is another matter. He has very low football IQ.
