This is fair. I believe we have to get the result because they are missing so many key players. We on the other hand are truly only missing Ramos, Marcelo and Modric. If we're being honest Ramos hasn't been in good form. Marcelo is but he is prone to defensive and mental error. Modric is a big miss, but if we're being honest James brings a more direct match and we know Kroos will play regardless instead of being benched for Modric; at least at this moment.
Yeah, on paper we defiantly have the better team coming into this game. But many times in the near past we have been disappointing when we should have had a walk in the park, against much lesser competition so I’m just trying not to get hyped up with the win before the game even starts, and try not to be too disapointed if we don’t come up with the win. I believe that if Cavani, Neymar and Mbappe weren’t even considered, we would take the threat of a di maria/ Icardi/Sarabia attack, much more seriously.
I feel an attacking lineup of Bale James Hazard and Benz is enough to win against anyone. We just have to be clever in midfield and mostly the defence need to be on point.

I am going to hate seeing Navas line up against us. As much as I am happy he is now playing as a starter, I will always see him as a Madrid man who served with distinction. That being said, this will be a good test for the team and I hope we come out on top. It will be interesting to see Hazard play from the start. With any luck, we have a comfortable lead early on and maybe see Hazard and Jovic play together.
