Both teams are off for about two weeks. good time for us to get healthy. Atlanta is going to start a hectic month for them, as they play 5 games over 15 days in the league. Form: Good Guys DDLWD Falcons WWWWL Leading Scorers: Good Guys Zarde$ - 11 The Sanch - 10 Accam - 2 The Most eligible bachelor in ohio Williams - 2 Gaston - 2 We Bought Trophies FC I'm way too good for this league Martinez - 23 Gressel - 4 Barco - 4 I'm the other one pls PITY me Martinez - 3 J9 - 3 DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM.
Time off should help iur defense get healthy After we lose we may need to shut down a few key guys and go with youth . But perhaps we try to beat Philly before we bench Room, Zardes, Santos , Mensah , Afful and Trapp . But i think these list of guys should not play the last two games Instead let me see Lundergaard Let Maloney play RB Start Sosa for crying out loud Maybe let Argudo play the 8 Let the youngsters start at CB do not start Josh
2 weeks to stew on this one. Initial thought is a disaster class but will ride a rollercoaster of emotions, talking myself into the Crew stealing a W, then coming back to earth and going with a draw prediction, before coming to my senses late next week and accepting a loss prior to kickoff. We'll see if that journey leads me to change my vote.
Having watched this team all year, They will compete above their heads and dodge bullets for the majority of the game and make a big defensive error in the last ten minutes. I hope they prove me wrong.
Out of real contention for anything, coming off a long break to reflect, probably looking at some youngsters... no match for an Atlanta team looking to clinch a playoff spot and chase down Philly for 2nd place in the East.
Atlanta's SGs are going silent for 15 minutes during this weekend's match against the Crew. Is it wrong of me to hope that our guys capitalize during this time?
Something to do with three arrows on a flag? I don't care about any of that, I came here for the soccer.
Same here, though I'm getting tired of the way terms are thrown around willy-nilly by some of these groups without much understanding. I will note, however, that every time I hear one word used, I keep thinking of The Princess Bride ("I don't think that word means what you think it means").
Back to this gm , do you want a line up to go for a win or for youth development? Anyone got the injury report update ? Hard to predict a line up without that info
Naturally but i mean do you shut down Pedro, Mensah, Zardes to give the younger guys and new additions a opportunity
I’d be OK with experimenting some, but there’s no reason to bench Mensah. Center back is center back. And Santos is going to be on the team next year, so any different formation is going to involve him. If you’re going to tinker, you might as well have him out there, as it will give a truer representation of what it will look like going forward.
Well Santos is out of contract so until we offer him a new contract there is no guarantee we Bring him back. I think we will keep him but i hope it’s a team friendly 1-2 yr deal
I would like to see Sosa at 10, Argudo at 8 and Artur at 6 . But I’ll bet money that Trapp starts if so bench Artur
I'd like to see them go out on a high note by getting as many points as possible in the remaining four games. We know there's going to be roster turnover and I'm sure that Porter knows what he has with the players based on their training. Having said, that giving meaningful minutes to some of the younger players would be welcome. I'd love to have Sosa come in for Trapp at some point in the game, maybe at 45 or at 60. Have Argudo and Mohktar continue to share time on the wing, and move Argudo to the middle to replace Santos for the last 30. I think he's been able to complete some good cutting passes inside the defense from that position specifically on transition. Santos is more shoot or pass out to the wing for a cross. Anyone have an injury report yet?
https://www.mlssoccer.com/injuries Also: #Crew96 injury report: Josh Williams (thigh) and Waylon Francis (thigh) are listed as out this week. No players listed as questionable.I've seen Aboubacar Keita train this week then get taken out early, but always assumed he'd be good to go.— Jacob Myers (@_jcmyers) September 12, 2019
Which means we'll actually have one defender on the subs bench, presumably Crognale. Seems just about certain we'll have a back 4 of: Afful Mensah Keita Maloney
