listened to the podcast. It is clearly very Instat/stat based. It can lead to defenders and defensive mids being overvalued relative to other positions. A player like Smith is going to be drafted a lot higher based on upside alone. Who you play with/against is going to have a huge bearing on this stat based analysis. AS is how you are asked to play by your HC. I would love to see ONLY data used from matchups that are vs top 50 teams. Not feasible I now given statistical sample sizes, but you get my point. Some kids are more likely to hang 5 points on a bad team than others. Often those same kids dont thrive when the heat is on.
