Phil Foden: : "He [Pep Guardiola] has his own opinions and I stick by how I am. I know I’m ready to play. I feel like I am. I try to show him every day in training. There is a bit of team-mates telling me to be patient but obviously I’m hungry and want to play now. "I’m going to fight for it every day. I’m ready to play whenever." 🗣️ @PhilFoden:‘It will be nice if Pep [Guardiola] watched the Turkey [vs England U21] game but maybe he’s taken a little holiday to play golf or something! I wouldn’t blame him..."[via @Jack_Gaughan] pic.twitter.com/S35umwbL4m— City Xtra (@City_Xtra) September 7, 2019
Golf is quite addictive apparently. Everyone i know who likes it obssesses over it. I'm glad i dont play lol Id say sports betting and golfing are the most popular hobbies nowadays
There’s a saying in the NHL that when a team doesn’t make the playoffs they’ll be playing golf in April. Majority of Hockey players are crazy about Golf. Some have gone as far as building their own courses. I have friends who are obsessed too, I’ve somehow held off from taking it up.
I watched NT U19 Slovenia vs. Russia. Painful to watch, especially when you remember how Mbappe played at that age.
Callejon is amongst the players with the most appearances in Napoli history. One could quite comfortably say that he's a club legend or at least an important figure.
He did it right after I commented on his play, I like how he's progressing. Could end up working out very well for him and the club.
We need to win against Spain home to qualify now after 1-1 in Sweden in October, and M. Ødegaard with 1 assist this evening with another solid game and J. King very good too.
Looks like Norway already has a play-off spot though? Avril Lavigne - Complicated You'd need to win and hope Sweden and Romania lose points to become 2nd. The latter actually have a good shot to become 2nd considering they are getting Sweden in Romania still, and have played both games against Spain already.
The reason probably is that they need another sport different to football where they can compete - not all are into esports - and need something that does not outpower them or is not too dangerous. Golf comes with a privacy, too, and works well with the schedule of footballers - outside of the club houses they do not need to do selfies or write autographs.
There was me thinking he wasn't playing as I never saw him on the team sheet. Just realised it was because I was looking at the Danish team.....
Yeah, I mean even going back to Mourinho he used to say that people that were former players criticize him but "spend most of their time playing golf", just like Phoden now spoke about playing golf like Guardiola would rather play golf instead of watching him. The criticism about Bale's interest for golf. It's casually popping up and I find it amusing. Might have something to do with Golf being mostly a wealthy man's game while football is still considered a working class sport so placing somebody outside if this working class environment into the total opposite which golf represents is a way to make it seem like people think they are above football.
Nah. It truly is an addiction to many people. I mean imagine u have a day off and u choose to spend 6 hours of it in the heat walking from hole to hole swinging a golf club. Doesn't sound like something people do out of being elitist. They just love that shit. The president of the u.s, clown and all, travels back and forth to Florida just to get his golf in. Some people's vacation locations are based solely on golf. It is a phenomenon man. All my friends do it every weekend. Glad i never tried it cuz i have an obsessive personality so i might get hooked.
KDB>>>>>>>>>> Pogba I know they don’t play the same position most of the time but for Madrid Midfield, KDB is what’s needed.
