That information is outdated: Cuba will be playing their home games in the Cayman Islands. As for Panama, AFAIK no other Concacaf team has turned to them as an alternate hosting venue. So far, it was just the USVI in Bradenton (n qualifying), St. Lucia over in Martinique, Bonaire in Curaçao and a few teams in Anguilla. Now, refreshingly, the vast majority of teams are playing their home games in their own territory.
Nassau wasn't impacted by the hurricane. They won 2-1. Would like to say the nation rallied behind them for the win, but from the highlights, looks like attendance was zero.
Ashley Judd's first lead movie role was filmed in Panama City: "Ruby in Paradise". No it was not a porno, if that's what you are thinking. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0108000/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_49
If anything (hurricane recovery side), the CNL's accomplishment is just getting the Bahamas to play regular football, after so many years of sitting out the Caribbean Cup.
It seems like that's one of the goals, so, so far (mostly, Belize/F.Guiana fiasco aside), so good. Not sure these Nations are up for it or care, but it seemed like the Bahamas players cared when they scored!
One of the goalkeepers for Curacao, Jarzinho Pieter, died before tonight's match, which will go on: https://soccer.nbcsports.com/2019/09/10/curacao-goalkeeper-dies-in-team-hotel/

El Salvador losing at the Dominican Republic is the shocker from the first group of fixtures. Suriname hammering Nicaragua 6-0 also stands out a bit.
Does Cuba not have baseball fields they can lay a soccer field over like the game last night in St. Louis?
I know this comment is largely tongue-in-cheek, but I think the issue there is lack of lights. As I understand it CONCACAF requires night games.
That was a great little movie. A slow pace with a focus on the moments in-between probably kept it from being better known. Worth seeing.
Panama also lost against Bermuda at home, 0-2. That’s a big one. Although Bermuda was decent at the last Gold Cup.
I think Panama just had a golden generation. They used to be nothing and we'll see if they're now a CONCACAF power that can be good every cycle or if their new generation is the opposite of golden like our last one was that we are still evolving past.
Seems like Honduras and CR are also declining at the moment. I guess we'll see in Oct/Nov if thats going to continue, but it does seem like the next Hex in general will be weaker.

The Saint Marten bros playing in Anguilla makes sense, better quality field and it's a 20 minute ferry ride away AFAIK:
