He's been dreadful this season. I would dare to say Miazga would be worth a shot over the way Zouma is playing.
Also, let's be honest, Puli has disappeared these last 20 minutes. And before that got dispossessed far too easily. Mount had his worst game today, and all things considered CP wasn't bad, but he's not been great help either.
Willian is the most frustrating player ever. Strange passes, holding the ball for no damn reason, and generally playing disconnected. Frustrating result. Pulisic was definitely in on goal if Willian had come off the ball towards the end of the match.
Stupid sometimes but not today. I never commented on that type of thing in the past but today it’s been almost criminal.
Another meh game for Pulisic. Certainly didn't stand out on either spectrum. Not the worse nor the best out there today.
Other than the accidental pass to Azpilicueta and some world class making the keeper really nervous on one occasion you’d have to be a homer to say that was a good performance by CP. He dawdled and lost the ball a handful of times in the second half. Also, Lamps doesn’t know what the ******** he’s doing with his subs.
Chelski fans for the first time turning hard on Puli on their big forums (TalkChelsea & TheShedEnd). That's never good.
It wasn't a great performance by CP - but he did have a mix of good and bad moments that wasn't out of place. But the real story of this game is the dreadful state of Chelsea's defense.
Do they like anyone right now? Honestly, everyone on the pitch for this team deserves a share of the blame. Chelsea is not good.
As expected. He's a $70M man. Needs to show some end results, and that means goals/assists for an attacker.
Says the American defending an American Sounds like they need to shore up central defense. Hopefully Christensen can unseat one of Zouma or Tomori (haven't watched the games- has he been as bad?). Willian's long summer with Brazil probably doesn't do him any favors right now; still have some optimism, it feels like there's fixable as opposed to systemic problems here and if everyone can gel it'll be alright...target internally must be top 6 at a stretch, top 8 at a minimum.
ManU, Arsenal, Tots haven't been that impressive. They have a chance to move within the top 6, assuming things get better for them.
Exactly. Mount is home grown, he's going to get the love. If Mount putting in goals occasionally, CP needs to step it up big or deal with the heat.
