Dammit skim.... don’t let USSF get a hold of this or they’ll finally have someone to point a finger at cause they sure as hell aren’t doing it at Bradley.
LOL...I went back looking for that post. That would surely have been the all-time greatest post in the history of the inter webs.
Croatia's '14 World Cup squad featured 13 players from the top 5 leagues. Several of those players were pivotal members of some pretty big teams.

Early days but he’s not nearly aggressive enough on the ball and he’s too static off the ball. Peripheral.
Yeah this performance has been not good enough for this level. Missing open teammates, poor first touches and bad decision making.
This is just not true. He had an assist, an MLS assist, set another up another opportunity on a platter, and connected very well with his teammates today.
There was a play where he took a speculative shot into the sidenetting instead of finding Abraham that comes to mind. I wouldn't say he was poor, just not seizing opportunity by the throat.
The point was better made by someone else in the YA Gameday thread, but this is the kind of game Pulisic is expected to be an impact player and he was just...okay. Hopefully more familiarity with his teammates leads to better decisions from him in the final third. Top-six clubs-and especially this top-six club-don't tend to be overly patient. He was better today than last week but he really needs to have a dominant game to buy some goodwill and patience.
He played on the right and when he plays on the right he’s an assists guy. He played his role today about as well as he ever does on the right so I’m not sure what the problem is. He got a couple opportunities to score. One was blocked and the other was side netting from a tough angle after the ball got away from him. Other than that he did everything he could’ve done to help the team win.
Aside from Mount's goal, I thought Puli was more influential than Mount (and Mount doesn't score w/o Puli's play), and Barkley (by far). I still say he's basically one of the world's best 8's. He's not a scorer. But, there's nothing wrong with being one of the world's best 8's. I thought he looked like he got tired, btw.
He’s looked tired in nearly every game. He didn’t take a break this summer, which might have paid off short term, but could be an issue as the season progresses.
I missed the match, but feels like commentators/experts are saying he played a very good game and fans are saying he played a poor game? Truth is usually somewhere in between.
Eh? Mount was man of the match!? Pulisic didn't have a very good game but you gotta give the lad a chance! I've been a Chelsea supporter probably since before most of you were born and this is a very young but promising team, give the young lads a bit of time and I think there is a good chance that this becomes a good team, an exciting team, it will be fabulous to see the team 'grow' but we gotta give them a bit of time to mature and to 'gel', young Pulisic is new to the club, he will soon 'bed in' though and we will see better games from him that I am sure about!
Mount was man of the match? Selected by whom? I'd have given it to Abraham. Mount? aside from his goal, what did he do? I don't recall him doing any ball winning, making any important passes - not one. Puli was involved in every dangerous build up Chelsea had, aside from Abraham's 2nd. He worked hard on D, recovering balls and harassing when he didn't. Who's not giving Puli a chance?
Aside from his goal what did he do!!! You have got to be kidding me! https://www.football.london/chelsea-fc/players/chelsea-mason-mount-frank-lampard-16811181 Do you know anything about football? It looks like his performance is about to get him an England call up - but I suppose Lampard and Southgate don't know anything about football?
Appeal to authority fallacy. Mount was no better than Pulisic in that game and Pulisic was bang average.
I think Pulisic was hurt by how few minutes he played these past two seasons. I'm of the opinion he would be sharper in the instances you and others are bringing up if he played for a weaker club and got two full seasons of minutes. But that's an alternate reality. The transfer ban and his transfer fee will give him time. I'm not worried yet.
