    Would anyone want this guy in the K-League?

    -----

    Lee Seung-Woo ended up at the FC Barcelona youth academy when he was thirteen. He hoped to move on to the A-core, but it became Hellas Verona. In 2017/2018 he took 14 duels in the Serie A with it. The right footed left winger aimed once. Last season he stranded in 23 games in the Serie B.

    Hellas Verona ended in a promotion place and is therefore back in the Serie A. Seung-Woo, however, is putting on an STVV shirt.

    I would actually have him stay at serie a one of the better leagues in the world and perhaps get regulated than play at the Belgian league and most likely get relegated. The Belgian team that’s interested lost two of their first games. The previous game they lost by 6. Yikes

    @takeuchi

    In your opinion, do you think this is a good move for him? I'm kinda unsure tbh with the tradeoff being playing time and maybe gaining some confidence vs. level of competition every day

    Remember his prematch comment about Japan in his youth?

    It's not ideal but STVV is his best shot. Several Japanese players have used it as a stepping stone to Serie A, Buli, or 2.Buli

    50/50.. it all depends on him. worked out for guys like Daichi Kamada & Tomiyasu. if he can boost his stats (as in goals), should be good experience for him as the league is much more open like in Austria (ex- even Hwang HC can score as teams don't sit back.. even when down to 10 players).

    the only issue I had w/ Lee SW at Serie B was end product. he did a lot of right (such as move the ball forward through dribble or whatever) but he consistently Fd up chances.

    edit - as far as ability in tight space, the trio of Lee KI, Lee SW and Paik SH are tops for Korea imo.

    I heard there was interest from teams in the Erevidsie and Ligue 1 too. So despite drop of competition, if he starts and plays well (scoring goals and assisting) he'll might move back into a more competitive league.
    P.S are there any streams for the Belgian league lol

    my guess is his reps leaked the info, hoping he could force a move to his preferred destination (clubs who weren't willing to pay a fee) while Verona remained calmed to collect good fee for him.

    anyways, STVV.. more or less, hopes to develop players in order to sell them for big profit. Lee SW fits the bill.... if he does well, don't expect him to stay longer than 1 yr at the club.
