Eddie Lewis was on that team? Forgot that. I know Feilhaber played a handful of minutes.

 

He was specifically signed for their Premier League campaign from Leeds and started 22 league games for Derby as a 33-year-old winger.

Which sort of explains why they were as bad as they were. It would be like signing Bedoya to a Premier League team next summer, and expecting him to contribute significantly.

He’s a CDM playing CB at this point. Obvious why GB plugs him in that hybrid role.

Watching Ream play at lcm reminds a lot of Rafa Marquez except that Rafa was able to score often. The two were teammates in 2010-11 with NYRB in MLS. I wonder if anyone sees that resemblance.

 

I'm no huge Ream fan, but he looked like a world-class centerback next to Marquez when they were both in Harrison. Marquez aggressively sucked.

 

I meant to say to exclude Marquez's time with the Red Bulls for which he was unmotivated, and to compare Ream to the non-RedBull Marquez that played for Barcelona, Mexico, etc.
