To clarify, one more time. Away. goals. don't matter. They haven't in like 10 years. Total points, total goals, current holders retain cup if the teams are tied.

So, FSL has 3pts and 3 goals. Rapids have 0pts and 2 goals. RSL will retain the cup if they:
-Win
-Tie
-Lose by one goal

The only way we take the cup is if we win by two or more goals.

 

Now, last time we played FSL, Howard nearly saved a PK, which would've held FSL to two goals in that match. Also, Kei had a PK saved, which would have put us at 3 goals. I also recall that Abubakar had a reeeaaaallly close offside decision that would've put us at 3 goals as well had the call go our way - so it's not like we were completely run out of our own stadium.

That said, alot of our good stuff came after FSL got their red card....I wonder if Lewis can draw another red in this game as well....that would be nice, as long as he does so without injury

Last game of consequence this season. Wish it was at the Dick instead of away.

2-2 tie. Kia and Rubio scoring the goals. My big wish is for the Rapids to have a one goal lead at some point in the second half. Now that would be fun. Open a bottle of scotch to tamp down the nerves fun.

 

Moved to Colorado and trying to get into MLS. Does anyone know if there are any bars in the Fort Collins area where supporters tend to gravitate? Would be nice to watch with a group.

 

Predicting a 2-0 win, just because I need something good to happen right now.

 

Again, to clarify, despite what the Rapids Gameday Guide says, the Rapids can only win the Cup tonight with a 2 goal win. Away. goals. do. not. matter. They haven't for like 10 years.

 

CB & Potts sometimes can be persuaded to put soccer on a TV. I don't know of any place where groups of soccer fans actually gather in FtC, though.

Honestly, I can’t remember the last time we had this consistent of a starting lineup. Aside from the one off injury or suspension, It’s been essentially the same for the last several weeks now
