I agree with you regarding the format, which is basically helps more the small teams byt in this case Millonarios is the only one to blame. They had everything depend on them at home and rhey blew it.

Missing Fariñez was not critical. The team looked nervous and devoid of ideas in the second half, and even with one more man, they didn’t create much danger around America’s goal. The substitutions were inconsequential and we never made the extra player noticeable.

Frustrating to see the team have their worst game of the semester just when they could not fail.

PS: even without winning Pasto could still qualify, depending on the second semester results.

A certain relief that pinto wasnt champion......not a good person to celebrate a title with him.

in the sporting aspect......the tournament is the only victim with this elimination.........

I have to agree , i like playoffs with straight elimination, use the regular season to provide seeding (if you are a better team you play the worst team - so the reagular season positioning is relevant).

I have to say that Millos blew it. Hard. It was their home, full stadium, 1 man up and they couldn't do it.

The memes in the interwebz yesterday were priceless.

Both the goals were free kicks. The 1st goal was laughable. You have to think with their main goalie things would be different. But then again America didn’t have their main striker.

Millonarios played super bad in general. Macallister, montoya and perez were super bad.

With fariñez the history wouldnt be different....america fair winner.

$1.6m on 70%?! This is insulting! Millonarios needs to ask at least double for 70%.

Seems low but Barrios and Sebastian’s perez went to Boca for 3 million each and they were both younger and better prospects

    1. German Cano of Dim, depsite being argentine........can be starter in at least 7 of 10national teams of south america. Could be the case of dinenno, de los santos, the argentinian of nacional.....isnt coincidence that the players of this countries make difference in our football....not sense of banned them without reason

    2. Recently in colombia have played andy polo and mariño from peruvian national team...and they were worse than every argentinan that have arrived....not coincidence that only ruidiaz is having a good performance with paolo...peruvians do it bad outisde peru.....

    3. We are hiring Venezuela with good results...almost with the volume of argentinas, urguayans and paraguayans

    4. Dont know if ortiz will be keep this form has to wait

Venezuelans are very good in the last years: El Lobo Guerra, Fariñez, Viscarrondo, Aristeguieta, Orozco, Carioco Gonzalez and Anthony Uribe. Worth seaching players from Venezuela.

Ha! that cat always gets me. One of the few memes that hasn't bored me.

The game was very stressful at least for me. Damn, as you said, we were lucky to not lose by 3 (OR MORE) goals at the end of the first half.

Osorio's rotation is always perplexing to me. God damn, rotate against cucuta and Magdalena, not with Millonarios you dumb fuck!!!

On the bench we started with Barcos, Cepellini, Vladimir, Rovira , and played several players out of position. This was not the time for experimentation you clown!!!!.
