Actually, I paid $55. My expiration date was right before they unveiled the newer, better, cheaper program. I gave my wife the second scarf. Maybe the cat gets number three.
Has anyone been able to get their caps logged with the app successfully? /the scarf is nice this year, at least.
i actually keep forgetting during the games i've been to. Interested to hear if anyone has been successful. Thought it was a cool feature/capability...but not if the person has had a few too many beers in the parking lot and forgets to sign in.
Same here. I went to Cleveland and Chicago, opened the app, but didn't get credit for either. I emailed the general address after Cleveland and received a prompt reply stating they would add it. Still waiting...
I scanned my ticket in the app at the Jamaica game in DC and a cap was automatically added (pretty sure that's what happened). I didn't do any check-in but the cap count increased by one at the game so that's my guess.
Scarf number four arrived today. Apparently, my membership includes a complimentary upgrade to the scarf of the week club.
I still have not received a scarf. I emailed because I was not able to sign in. It does not recognize my email address on the website, yet they keep emailing me about pre-sale tickets. I am a founding fan. I also called and left a message. I have never received a response. Good news though I was able to get into the pre-sale for the game in St. Louis/ Do I need to follow up and invoke @wixson7?
Hate to say it but maybe wait another few weeks on the scarf. I actually just threw away my 2nd one (honestly no idea what to do with it, and am anti-pack rat). We've got a fan council call today, let me see what i can do in re: to emails/logins/etc. And...if totally fed up.. send me PM and i'll get you my email address that you can cc me on your next email to the membership group.
I missed this new cap counting process during the unveiling in May. I don't have any cell phone. I will send copies of my ticket stubs to the Insiders email and hope for the best. Caps don't count for much any more, maybe a milestone pin and a pat on the back.
If you buy thru US soccer\ticketmaster portal, it should (in theory) connect that ticket/cap to your account. Let me know if it hasn’t. Caps will be integrated into a points program in phase 2 (we think......) where “interactions” will earn points. These points will be kinda like lifetime frequent flier miles. You can cash them in for “experiences”. Disclaimer, not sure if the points system will be put in place but we were told it was a potential. Stay tuned... .
My "Insider" presale password for the game in DC hasn't worked for the first 12 minutes of the Insider presale window. Nice.
@Eddie Stiel thought of you today when i received an actual ticket for the upcoming St. Louis game. Ordered thru AO, but sent in envelope by USS/TM. Old school!
Ticketmaster Canada sent me a paper ticket for the US/Canada match at BMO Field. I always end up with a paper one from the box office because I don't play well with mobile only ticketing.
Just getting back on here, but having the same problem with US membership. I have emailed twice, and never got a response. I still get all of the e-mails about presales, etc, but when trying to log in my e-mail does not work. Still got a scarf though. Also, have never been able to register a cap. Now just annoyed with the whole thing.
I recently renewed my Premium Insider membership and am awaiting my 2020 scarf. Does anyone have any recent experience with membership renewal or scarf distribution? Insider Support no longer replies to my emails.
I was gonna ask. I renewed I think back in December/January. I believe the most recent thing I received from them was a 2019 4th Star gold pin for the USWNT crest. Two actually; probably because I switched email addresses at one point. Looking forward to the 2020 scarf, if there even is one. I have the scarves from 2013 to 2019 lined up on hooks in my hallway. Not sure what Chicago lockdown conditions are like right now or what the Federation's WFH capability is, but I probably wasn't going to try to reach out to them until later in the summer. The only Insider emails I've gotten in recent weeks have been invitations to online events because...you know: stay home forever.
A USSF staffer called me on Friday in response to my last email. The lockdown in California is delaying this year's scarves. USSF staff is working from home. No word about future matches. At least now I have contact information for someone who might resolve future communication dead ends.
UPS just delivered a gift from the USSF, a face mask made from (unsold) jerseys they had lying around in the basement. I got a Jovan Kirovski whose last NT cap was 3/28/04 vs. Mexico.
