    Do they really think Boca Juniors is bigger than Atletico de Madrid? They are crazy. European football is overly bigger. They think because of the history in Libertadores? If Atletico Madrid played in Libertadores, they would have won it every year. It reminds me of how Martin del Palacio said that all his friends in Spain were pumped about the Libertadores final in Spain and when they saw the match they were surprised and though it had the level of a mid table teams La Liga match.

    Also those people really act like those teams are bigger than they are. Yeah River and Boca are bigger worldwide than any teams in South America but they aren't bigger than Tigres or those teams in Mexico. They probably think people in Mexico and the rest of South America give a shit and are paying attention to their teams when everybody just cares about their league. Hell I'm always caught by surprise when the Boca-River game happens.

    They are wrong about the whole Atlético Madrid comparison but argies are right albeit overly zealous in regards to Tigres. Es equipo chico compared to Boca and River. Tigres doesn't have the rich history nor do they hold a strong presence in the Americas.

    How do you even evaluate stuff like that?

    Do you have to come up with a baseline for what an informed observer of international football looks like and poll them?

    It’d be fun to compare that understanding to the that of the average Columbus Crew fan.
