Republic FC's power rankings dropped eight slots this week to #25. San Antonio FC (edited from SAFC and USL websites) San Antonio FC extended their unbeaten streak to five league matches, and their home unbeaten streak to nine matches with a 3-1 win over the Real Monarchs last Saturday. In three games with SAFC since joining on loan, forward Frank Lopez has scored three goals, added an assist, and recorded five key passes. Lopez has now taken his season goal tally to nine which leads the club. Goalkeeper Jonathan Viscosi entered Saturday's game in the 43rd minute after an injury to teammate Matthew Cardone and would go on to make four saves. Cardone made two saves prior to exiting, giving SAFC at least six saves for the third time this season. SAFC has now conceded just two goals in their last four league matches. San Antonio rose in the power rankings this week to 12th. ______________________________________________________________________ This will be updated during the week as both teams update their websites.
Why the H is Villareal still in the game in the 70th minute. Dude almost fell over trying to stand up after knocking heads. 3 subs left, Saari on the bench - no excuse.
I found an explanation for you: The program USL Championship clubs use to pull video during matches had a malfunction during our match, so we’re working with the league to get our videos. Thanks for your patience!— Sacramento Republic FC (@SacRepublicFC) August 5, 2019
I got home and watched the 1st half of the replay. Impressive performance. I didn't bother with the second half for the exact reason that @fortunesfool223 mentions above.
