the AO Members at the St Louis Press Conference got to speak briefly with Gregg Berthalter (sp), he asked us 2 questions...1) who our favorite player was (we naturally said Sargent)..2) what did we think about Sargent not being on the Gold Cup Roster...he asked us that. thought that was bold of him to ask us...i liked it. Like coach said, he's only 19...his time is coming very soon, hes 19 playing in Bundesliga...it'll be here sooner than later. Hopefully we will see him on 9/10
Did you actually buy tickets for Havana in November wixson7? Because as per CONCACAF's requirements for League A teams playing in the evening with stadium lights, the game looks like it might be played in Panama. http://www.cibercuba.com/noticias/2...a-panama-liga-naciones-futbol-porque-terrenos
Bought tix on miles, can easily refund. Not too worried but then again a couple days in Cuba are never a bad thing.
A November game in Panama for the USMNT looks more certain than ever as CONCACAF have confirmed that Cuba will host Canada in Panama City and not in Havana. http://res.cloudinary.com/concacaf-...-prod/assets/19_CNL_GS_Schedule_September.pdf
This says the Cayman Islands for Cuba vs Canada https://concacafnationsleague.com/e...ions-league-group-stage-matches?sf217006032=1
Ya, they just published an update about 2 hours ago; the game will be in the Cayman Islands and not Panama. What this means is that, the US away game in November will....not be in Cuba! Cayman Islands seems likely for that one too because the Cayman Islands team is playing away on the Tuesday, November 19th! @ wixon7 , I wouldn't book a flight to the Cayman Islands just yet though...
Uggh for me equals begging my brother and Dad (who I had to convince he wouldn’t be betraying his country..seriously) to go with me, and now having to backtrack. Sorry to bring everyone here into my own domestic issues..
I think it would be great for us to play in Panama or wherever, to play an away game. It's very important to play away from your home base.
True, but the travel aspect is very important. A team should be used to being in foreign circumstances as far as hotels, physical travel, food, etcetera.

Away leg against Cuba will indeed be played in The Cayman Islands https://www.caymancompass.com/2019/08/20/cayman-to-host-us-cuban-and-canadian-football-teams/
Here's an article talking about how Canada is going to try to figure out how to optimize their schedule to give them the best chance of hitting the top 6 in the FIFA rankings for Concacaf to get into the hex. https://www.sportingnews.com/ca/soc...e-friendly-matches/1nn9rfndtb6ll15dkfq2abzfe2 Of note, it says the US/Canada match in November is "likely in Orlando".
Lotsa snowbirds from Canada should attend - I think. They could have a picture of Wayne Gretsky in the advertising for the game.
Terrible jokes. Seriously though, I want to buy my flight - prices are going up! When will this actually be confirmed?
