If no one is interested in this thread I will stop spending time reporting the attendances, weekly average and capacity percentages. The stats I am providing here are much more than anybody is doing in the previous attendance thread but there doesn't seem to be a lot of activity here. I don't want to do it just for myself. I can just keep a spreadsheet for that if I want.
Isn't this thread more for calling out obvious exaggerations in the official numbers? The thread in N&A only uses official numbers so this is supposed to be the place one can say "it looked larger/smaller on tv" or for those who attended can explain everyone was on the concourse or the game was indeed sparsely attended.
No, this is supposed to be a place to discuss attendance where talk about the actual crowd size is allowed. It isn't supposed to be only talk about crowd size, but crowd size is a super important part of any discussion of attendance. As you can see there is more actual stats and numbers being presented here.
28,774 in Cincinnati GREAT crowd for a Thursday night game.I believe once they move into their 26-26,500 capacity stadium they will sellout ALL their games. Oh Portland sold out their game tonight (141 consecutive games)
Reports from Bridgeview for Wednesday's game suggest no more than 5K actually present. Official number was nearly 8K.

I have updated the Wikipedia article as this is where I lookup the info each week. I can't remember every stadium capacity.

Sometimes I wonder when you look at the empty seats. American sports fans show up late often. Not saying your wrong on Orlando, I did not see that game.

True but it happened a couple weeks ago when SJ hosted LAG. So, it is the second time this year that Atlanta didn't have the highest attendance of the week.
14,213 in Chicago and 20,315 in Houston those are REAL numbers, not the BS number they are reporting during the MLS season. Here in Chicago we had crowds of 13k (twice), 15k (once) and 12k (once) and they didn't come close to looking like the crowd for last night. Yeah I know the excuse is tickets distributed, but when they say 15k and it looks like 9k. So they are saying that 6k didn't show up. How stupid do they think we are?

New England with a very good looking crowd tonight. I've been saying this for the last 10 years, If Krafft showed that he cared about his team, then this kind of crowd would be the norm. New England could easily be a top 5 team in average attendance, maybe top three (only Atlanta and Seattle ahead of you).
Not in Houston. I was guessing stadium was 1/4 full. Guy next to me guessed 1/5th. I counted our upper level midfield club section. 14 butts in seats. Exactly 1/6th.
