Hwang Euijo joining Bordeaux? 4-year contract apparently. Info @lequipe : Bordeaux va faire signer l’attaquant sud coréen des Gamba Osaka Hwang Ui-Jo. Accord trouvé entre les deux clubs. Contrat de quatre saisons.— Emery Taisne (@EmeryTaisne) July 11, 2019
It would be a great signing spot for him. Cornelius likely isn't coming back so his only real competition up front will be Briand and maybe Mendy who is likely leaving. The club is in a real mess right now though having recently been purchased by an American. Hopefully he has some deep pockets to spend. New manager as well in Sousa who is lately going with the trendy 3-4-3. I was thinking of going to watch them play in DC in a couple weeks. Would be cool if he signed and made that trip.
I think they were just testing the sub out given the circumstances. It was his debut. And he gave up 2 goals in the first 3 min and then got redcarded lol.
Bordeaux's coach is Paulo Sousa. He's Portuguese like Bento and apparently they know each others very well. I won't be surprised if Bento have something to do with HEJ's deal.
If the Korean reports are true, his salary will be €35k a week . That makes him the best paid player Bordeaux by a long way, and would get paid €10k a week more than the highest earner, Bordeaux’s captain Benoît Costil. https://m.sports.naver.com/kfootball/news/read.nhn?oid=477&aid=0000195186
Lol calm down. Just because his agent is putting out BS articles doesn’t mean that the transfer is BS. I’m just a bit cautious because of his agent’s modus operandi (has been nortorious for doing this for over 20 years).
Who's Emoji's Agent? ----- In July 2018, General American Capital Partners's CEO Joseph DaGrosa pursued the purchase of the French professional football team for €70 million after 19 years of M6's ownership. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FC_Girondins_de_Bordeaux ----- Seems like the new owner is a BIG THINK. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_DaGrosa
Lol, no it’s not. GACP is in this for a 3-5 years before they sell out. This isn’t DaGrosa’s money, this is their LP’s money. Plus the club is probably super levered now. They won’t go “big” with Bordeaux lol.
whatever his agent saying is full of BS. i tried to search around for details on his contract in japanese portal .. again, is more or less a mystery (including the so called buyout of 2m). on his wage? again... no way he extended his contract for around 2m+ USD last season.. this was in 2018. somehow he 2x+ his wage.. at Gamba.. no less? nonsense to me http://nbakki.hatenablog.com/entry/Top_150_annual_salaries_of_JLeague_players_in_2018
Well his agent has a legendary track record... and not in a good way... I hope for once he is actually sending a player to Europe for real.
found 2019 data.. Hwang UJ is only on 100m yen (around 900k). not even close to whatever the BS his agent is spouting in Korean press https://www.soccer-money.net/team/team.php?team=%E3%82%AC%E3%83%B3%E3%83%90%E5%A4%A7%E9%98%AA edit - btw, correction. Korean article says after taxes, he would earn somewhere around 1.2m USD (not the 2m USD i stated in my earlier statement).. which would be close to whatever he is earning at Gamba. still.. not true in 2018, he was around 700k.. raised to 900k in 2019. he didn't 2x his wage... not exactly close to 1.2m USD
Hwang Ui-Jo, the choice of Sousa The recruitment of Korean Hwang Ui-Jo is a personal choice of Paulo Sousa. The Portuguese coach is well acquainted with the Osaka player, having attended all games of the Asian Games in September 2018, including the final won 2-1 by Korea-South against Japan. http://translate.google.com/transla...766.php?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
A priori, l’attaquant sud coréen Hwang Ui-Jo sera présent lors de la tournée des @girondins la semaine prochaine aux États-Unis. Il est question qu il rallie directement Washington. @lequipe— Emery Taisne (@EmeryTaisne) July 13, 2019 HEJ is supposed to take part in Bordeaux's US tour. He's going to join the team in Washington.
Nice. I'll get to see him then. Looks like they don't intend to buy anymore attaquants so it will be him, Briand, and Maja fighting for time.

Hong Hyun Seok joins FC Juniors OÖ (Austria 2nd tier) on loan. He already played in Europe with German team Unterhaching.
Glad to see this retard red carded after spreading false rumors about Kang In and in general being an annoying shit.
