This is a tough game to figure out. Does Seattle play a Tacoma Defiance level roster against us and gamble they can pick up points anyways or do they just try to bury us? My vote will require some deep thinking.
@chr1st some of your best work. You my friend, are the realist. I’ll always welcome works from modest mouse’s greatest opus. I’d only suggest st ides instead of olde English as an homage to Saint Elliott Smith and we all sob together..
I have been voting for lose by ONE goal all season with no success!!! The one time I admit how bad we suck and go for lose by TWO the soccer gods put me in my place!!!
Do we know yet who Seattle will be missing? If we're facing their Tacoma farm team, we might get a win. Is that team better than Pittsburgh?
This is it. This is our turnaround game. Win by 3+!!! Seattle has lost 4/5 since Marshall beat feet. And Bez has put Crew on notice, 'perform or GTFO.' I expect fires lit under asses. Plus, don't we always win the fireworks game, or am I making that up in my head?
I'm feeling like this could be a turnaround game. That or a random fluke, how did we win, win. I'm coming down for the game and I dont make it to games very often so I'm feeling especially positive.
While you're figuring how to get your Grouchy points, ponder which team performs better in a downpour? Or better in a game broken up by one or more long "weather delays?" Because the weather forecast for late afternoon/early evening is kinda suboptimal.
For no logical reason other than we are going to win home games vrs bad teams occasionally Also i think someone on this team will step up knowing everyone could be the next guy cut from the roster
My optimism after the recent signings leads me to believe we will tie and that is my vote. Without the exuberance, I would vote that we lose by 1.
Hats go to the first 7500 people. In addition, blatantly ripped from the email: $5 Beers in all Concession Locations – Continue the Independence Day celebration with $5 craft, import and domestic beers until the 80th minute of the match. Promotion excludes the king can (24 oz).
Rain looking a bit less likely. Of course the tradeoff is that it's now forecast to be about 5 degrees hotter because of the lack of cloud over.
I was on a WhatsApp discussion with one of my inside sources from Seattle last night. He's not feeling too confident about this one. He mentioned Seattle only winning once on the road so far this year. They are coming off a 3-0 pasting from NYCFC. No Morris, Roldan, Ruidaz, or Lodiero. I mean if the Crew can in any way be threatening or score a goal or two from open play, there might be points for the taking here. We shall see.
Wouldn’t shock me if the start of the match is delayed due to a quick moving line of thunderstorms that are now being projected
