I'm so sorry that Pinoe stole your girlfriend in high school. But you probably should've gotten over it by now.
I think it was great for the sport, especially that it showed the consequences of the second yellow. And VAR justified itself except possibly for the PK call. What was not apparently reviewed on that play was whether the England Wing who crossed was offside or not receiving the ball.
As much as I hate that he is starting now, I like Steffen. He is a good shot stopper and shows a lot of potential. I hate that Berhalter is making him play from the back the way he is. I'm not sure what I can celebrate with Naeher to justify her role other than we're made to believe it's a shallow pool.
Well folks the overwhelming consensus here is that England deserved to lose even more than the US deserved to win. They played a dirty game to make up for other shortcomings and totally failed to knock the US off their game. As far as our next opponents goes it does not matter. We only lose if we, as has happened before, beat ourselves. Since this is a World Cup final I doubt that the US plays down to either team in the final. Now I am off to supervise the cleanup. The people that own this property have 4 dogs and the dogs are being very helpful with the cleanup of dropped bones and other scraps. There are soon going to be 4 very happy and content dogs. People are clumsy when watching sports so the dropped a lot! There are enough scraps and bones that the dogs should not fight over anything but there has already been two minor altercations. In one they were arguing over one nearly meatless bone when two others with some meat were withing a few feet. Therefore the smallest and youngest dog, just little more than a puppy, grabbed those two choice morsels and ran off to be alone with her prizes. That altercation was more cleanly fought than most of the match today.
Really? You forgot the Thailand game? Where pretty much the majority of voices were highly critical of the exaggerated celebrations of the US? Even Hope Solo felt ashamed by it. And then the "tea drinking" celebration of Morgan tonight. Very classy.
It was probably part of the review or completed before the VAR review. Looks like Dunn is holding her onside. I thought she was offside when I saw it live, but they never showed a replay of it.
I dont think Dunne kept her on its any part of the body that can play the ball, so her head v Dunne’s feet.
Completely agree, I was very put off by his tabloid like campaign. Congratulations to the USWNT ladies. Amazing tournament performance again.
The " majority" is not correct just because they are the majority. (See my sig) The US did NOTHING even remotely wrong. It is often the case where ignorant people have to pull others down because they have no ability to raise themselves up.
Lol so you knew she had an injury yesterday and the entire Fox crew was baffled up until the middle of the game before word broke... lol okay...
I thought the goal celebrations on the sideline weren't that big of a deal, but whatever. As for you being worked up about the Tea Cup celebration... all I can say is LOL! That would be like me whining about Ellen White's goal celebrations. Big deal. I guess Phil Neville whining Megan Rapinoe wrecking his watch and about the USA being disrespectful for visiting England's hotel while the ENG team wasn't even there, WITH PRE-APPROVED PERMISSION FROM THE ENGLISH FA, was just more arrogance from the USA?
Or at all. Playing defensive is one of the best ways to give up tying or winning goals. The other team cannot score if the ball remains in their end.
Then why not simply disclose that when lineups are announced and the entire media is asking questions? All a cover up... lol Doesn’t matter. It’s just refreshing getting to see a win without her and her antics... Keep on lovin’ MR!
