I am not suggesting that. The reasons she is not starting have not been disclosed although she was queried. If I were to suggest anything, it would be that she is injured. She's not warming up.

 

On TV they've now reported that it's a hamstring issue. Such unfortunate timing. I hope that the U.S. can win this game AND that Rapinoe will be OK for Sunday.

I think it's obvious that his mention of the flag specifically references her actions during the National Anthem.
