Would be a much better game than Brasil-Peru round two.

Let's see if We can score 6 on them this time!

Heck, Brasil has been Chile's Boogeyman for decades so a Brasil - Chile final probably won't live up to the hype either.

    You are wrong, again.

(besides, you didn't even think about what I posted before, as i suggested you to do).

On the contrary, you are giving excesively too much credit to what coaches do, or can do with their teams. Specially at NT level, where most coaches have very little time to work with their players to try to impose their beliefs on them. Any big tactical change, requires lots of continuous time, working with the players they have, to get any results from it. Time, which most coaches don't have, as those players, spend most of their time playing at their clubs, which happen to be located across an ocean. To have only 10 days before a match is played, is about the same as not having a time at all.

And as another related issue, friendlies are maybe the only time where coaches get to really work with its players, so the better they use their time with them when he plays them, the best will be for him as their coach, to firstly know his players (to know their real potential), and secondly to try to implement a tactic change on the team. Rueda learned about Maripan, Pulgar, Arias, Paulo Díaz and others in the chilean NT, by actually playing with them at friendlies, instead of using over and over the same players all the time (as how Sampaoli and Pizzi did, during their respectful time as coaches). This is the only way to generate renovation in a team, an issue I will give full credit to Rueda, as he asumed and did it.
    .
    .
And on respect to CQ, which is a good coach, he usually plays defensive styles in his teams, an issue where he is very good at.
Fact Colombia didn't look defensive in this Copa America, is in great part what Colombia had running, before his arrival while being under Pekerman. Wouldn't be strange, to see Colombia in the future, under CQ, being lots more defensive than how Pekerman used to play the team.
Don't forget what I'm telling you here.

You are talking a lot of irrelevant nonsense as you usually do.
Rueda has to be given some credit in my opinion. His tactics and prep for this game were good. You disagree.
    Good for you.

Most probable result, is a 3-0 for Brazil

But, as matches must be played, if they happen to have a very bad day, while we have one of the best days in our lives, anything can happen.
One thing for sure, we started to pray it happens, the moment we passed the group stage.

And, for the case being, we don't need to start a hunger strike to get the desired results :D
(oh yes, I'm looking at someone in particular from this forum, as God doesn't work that way)

    Yup.
Still have to play the games.

Talking about hunger strikes is not as stupid as someone talking about a murdered Colombian player so cut him some slack.

IT is so obvious all of your intentions are positive and genuinely sincere.

So if a team parks the bus and the strategy is to play defensive then you would describe that match as evenly matched? They had 60% possession and almost double the amount of shots we had with two goals getting pulled back correctly, but were basically super slim margins. Not really sure evenly matched has any meaning in that case, we never really looked like winning or that we offensively were going to muster much.

I call it as I see it.
The last 20 minutes or so the strategy looked more about keeping the defensive formation and heaving it up in the Iranian sort of fashion and not playing the usual toque-toque-toque we have seen year in and year out from previous regimes.
I don't think that was random, I think that was more of a design.

I do not want to get into the semantics of what you consider and I consider an even match.
In the grand scheme of the game it was 0-0. They made 5 penalties and we made 4.
The result could have gone either way.

When someone says evenly matched it is more of the tale of the tape boxing term. Not who looked better in a subjective way or what strategy looked more effective in or lopsided in stretches during the match.

So were you talking about before the game the matchup not the actual playing of the game?
