Broke my lurking to make this post. Interested in what you guys have to think about our team in lieu of the Olympics. This would be my preferred lineup at the moment.
No I really don't. Is it because they have military exemption already? I thought people take Summer Olympics seriously enough to compete still?
Correct. They're all exempt. It's still a u23 tourney. Not taken seriously enough though to risk an injury. Plus theres no way many of these clubs would release for Olympics w no exemption at stake. Also I think you have too many overage players, although HIB may or may not be overage. Hes 96 but later bday....
Oh, I see, thanks for answering and not being a retarded troll. Although I think Summer Olympics will be off-season anyways I can see the injury concern.
Off season but still need club permission to play, unless you have some blanket exemption in your contract.

Great community. I thought Tavern of the Taeguk Warriors was the only forum for Korean soccer. Anyways, would like to see some of the new talent at the U-23, not old faces.
My Opinion is that of... another medal at the summer olympics would mean south korea has in recent decades been a better soccer country than "concacaf's best" mexico at the summer olympics i wouldn't sweat it too much though if they don't get another medal... afterall south korea vs japan at the 2012 summer olympics was nice
on the scale of tourneys that the general footballing world cares about, I'd say the olympics is pretty low. we have a disproportional amount of fondness and care for it given 2012 and general starvation for worldwide attention.
your point can be right at times... im excited for which teams qualify for the 2020 summer olympics... will china qualify for 2020 summer olympics?
The finalized roster for 2020 AFC U23 Chamoionship has been just announced. Korea needs to finish top 3 (top 4 if Japan advances to the semifinals) to qualify for the Olympic Games.
