Antuna has Cuauhtémoc level speed and not enough skills to offset. He’s a fine depth piece like Hugo Ayala or Luis Montes but IMO he’ll never be a standout player outside of MLS.
As of now he’s shown he can contribute Not starting material against tougher opposition but he’ll be good to have against CONCACAF teams by the time qualifiers begin
With absences yes. He wouldn’t be in any squad with Corona or Lozano since Lozano can play either wing.
