All players are on German clubs or on loan from one (in the Eredivise): This might be the first time this season that we've had this many players from Sweden who put up points during their games in the same day.- Alexander Isak, 3 goals- Emil Forsberg, 1 goal, 1 assist- Mikael Ishak, 1 goal- Sebastian Andersson, 1 assist- Robin Quaison, 1 goal— 🇸🇪 (@SwedeStats) March 30, 2019
#RBLeipzig striker Yussuf Poulsen: “It's great when your performances are appreciated. It slowly became known that also in Denmark that I scored 15 BL-goals. I was always criticised there as a striker who scored too few goals. I now have to score for the national team as well.”— German Football Daily (@GERFootDaily) May 8, 2019
Looks like Messi will struggle to ever win an International tourney with Argentina (youth don't matter). FT: 🇦🇷 0️⃣➖2️⃣ 🇨🇴Argentina have lost their Copa América opener for the first time since 1979. 😲 pic.twitter.com/wqzrdCLSkv— 433 (@433) June 16, 2019 Argentina were pretty horrible in the game.
It couldn’t happen to a better guy. ******** Messi. Argentina has literally the worst fans on earth and the NT is full of sore losers and assholes.
I also don't really care about Messi. If he never ends up winning an International Trophy would be funny though. what's more annoying about Messi is actually his fans. They want Argentina to win International trophies just to cement the player even more. Rooting for a country to win just for a selfish desire that inflates a player's legacy nothing more. Although the fans aren't great, they aren't fake fans like those non-Argentina Messi fans. but yeah Messi and the NT players are sore losers and unlikeable bunch. I don't find him humble like his image portrays him. And who could forget the Brawl that the Argentinian losers did in 2006 WC in Germany vs Germany. Attacking our players which got Frings suspended for the SF vs Italy. Which interesting enough was followed by another bogus suspension that happened in 2010 WC SF vs Spain as Muller picked up as 2nd yellow during the tournament vs Argentina in QF. After the ball went off of Messi's arm 1st. what a farce from the ref this was. let's be honest Argentinians likely hate Germany and want revenge as we gave them a record 3 consecutive WC elimination at the hands of the same country. I do look forward to football post Mess/Ronaldo era as well.
And Messi doesn't? You don't stay at the very top of your sport for over a decade without work ethic.
Hannes Wolf's horror injury...Euro is over for him + many months of Bundesliga football.Gutted. https://t.co/q0lAXdCJ6J— Football Talent Scout - Jacek Kulig (@FTalentScout) June 17, 2019
Seems similar to what Julian Weigl suffered from. That's one of the worst injuries that could happen for a football player because it will harm the balance of the joint permanently.
Argentina suck and Messi should just retire he won't win anything with them. Jesus has been pretty good this game, difference maker.
kind of mindboggling how Argentina produces club stars but who cannot translate any of that to the NT. also add how little relevance players like Dybala or Icardi have been to the NT. golden generation of NT flops who got worse for the NT as they aged. And last International title still 1993, just a few years away from 30 years ago. way too much dependence on Messi and no team mentality. Should have taken a cue from German mentality of it being all about the team.
I must say I enjoy watching the Argentinian NT fail time and time again, and this has to do with Argentinian sports media, who are always talking about winning tournaments, be they World Cup or Copy America, like it's some sort of divine right, and it's not just football, it extends to other sports as well. Take Juan Martin del Potro, the Argies are always hyping him up as he was in the same tier as Federer and Djokovic.
and Messi ends the Copa America with a funny but farce straight red. https://streamja.com/vv1b lol at this comment from Argentina forum, days ago "I would support the devil if he really did exist if they were playing Brazil or Germany. Despicable teams." so what exactly has Germany ever done to Argentina besides eliminating them from 3 consecutive WC (record)? 2006 WC it was they who attacked our players too, lol.
Reminds me of the famous Churchill quote: “If Hitler invaded hell, I would put in a good word for the devil in parliament.”
our players were accused of racism for that, LMAO. https://www.usatoday.com/story/spor...layers-criticized-over-gaucho-dance/12726931/ https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/fo...ho-dance-after-argentina-triumph-9609962.html
