This is the "non-USA" thread for the match!

As I mentioned in the other thread, I am curious to see what Christiane Endler can do (if anything) to stop US shots. She seems in good form. :coffee:

Goalkeepers positioning for that goal was poor. Too far to her right.

Glad someone else said it as feel like all I'm doing is criticising keepers.

I think we all saw it, or can clearly see it on the replay

She may be tall but she doesn't look very good. Poor positioning on the first goal and that was really poor on the second goal.

No VAR needed here, sadly: Guerrero's position was clearly off-side from the FK and, although I don't think she touched the ball, she surely "disturbed" Naeher, who anyway came out very badly.

Anyway, these late flags start being really annoying! :x3:

Not a fan of way VAR is implemented. If going this root to remove human error we need an AI algorithm applied that makes decision and notifies ref within say 2 seconds of incident for them to review

Why does anyone but US players gets Yellow for elbow to the face? Doesn't matter that it wasn't voluntary from Ertz: the consistent call so far has always been to punish that no matter what.

Also, I guess everyone saw that the USA scored from a CK that should have been a goal kick instead...

Chile are atrocious at defending set pieces. Lloyd’s marker just gave up and flopped to the ground :ninja:
