Can’t believe we didn’t have another VAR interruption there

Scotland's just a step behind England. Don't see them coming back from 2-0.

England has this IMO. They had total control of the play in the 1st half

Yeah. I think we've reached the if-Scotland-can-nick-a-goal stage.

HT 2-0. England's high-tempo pressure and ceaseless rain of crosses have Scotland a bit flustered, and all it takes is one bad touch. White is playing as a classic center poacher, turning on bad bounces for quick flicks. This is the same role in which Cristiane was flourishing. We haven't seen what England's defense looks like against an equally high-paced attack.

There was a former Scottish international too, in studio, and Scott was infected by Scottish accent for a moment! I am not alone.

If you heard Sir Alex Ferguson speak for years, you'd still have a hard time getting through the accent at times no matter how long you're used to listen to him.

Wow, England had scored at 30" of 2nd half, but it was clear off-side.

You have the feeling that England could anyway close the game in a similar way at any moment. :coffee:

It's BBC Alba. It is in Scots Gaelic. They show most of the Scottish Women's games, but the co-commentator usually speaks in English.

This delayed call thing is really starting to bug me.

White was clearly, clearly, off. What can possibly happen that is going to "allow" this play to stand?

And that's now a pair of goals coming from White where she clearly doesn't know where the offsides line is.

Bright hit her head on the Turf. They need to put her in concussion protocol.

45'28" 2-0 Parris passes to White offside at 26m box right, White touches to 12m box right and passes square left to spot. Mead veers in from box top left post, shoots up centerline under Alexander's right hand into center back low. No goal, Mead was behind the ball but White wasn't.

47' 2-0 Cuthbert runs alongside Bright to 7m wide right, bumps her off-balance and Bright dives face-first, stays down momentarily.

49' 2-0 Parris receives and turns to 24m 1/4 right, shoots high over bar.

50' 2-0 Stoppage, Bright is seated at circle left. Trainers examine her -- apply a protocol?

Yes, during the stoppage, the trainer was checking her left clavicle/shoulder.

Dear me... Talk about going for a dive after so little contact and then hurting yourself as a result. That's karma at its finest.

Emslie looked interestingly good in the last minutes on the Right-Side.
