That away shirt does look like the one Auba had on in the previous photo. But it's hard to see that the collar/stripes are blue not black. More importantly for me, it's missing blue sleeves. But that home kit is NICE! If not for the white socks it would be damn near my perfect classic strip.
I take it that hopefully (in your case) they come up with red socks for any needed changeovers (like for away matches where the home club is wearing white or other brightly-colored socks, like Chel$ki do at Stamford Bridge) I would like to see that too, after all, red socks have always been part of traditional Arsenal kits in decades past dating (at least) back to the old Division One in the 70s and 80s IIRC
My PayPal account awaits my order from Arsenal Direct, what about the GK kits, any leaks of those, and will there be a short sleeved option as there normally is nowadays.
I would doubt there will be a GK leak, especially when there is a billboard on the Armoury that says the launch is soon. Anyway this is a cgi mock of the kits; And a pic of not to be sold Laca;
That's the first I've noticed the navy blue on the neck and sleeve cuffs. I love details like that.Definitely think I'll be buying a couple kits.
What's the point of having 3 very different collar treatments? It's not very unified. I'd pick one collar style and then just vary the color on each shirt. Like they did with the socks. Obviously I'm not in charge. Thank god, y'all would say!
I am like you, when I use create a kit for stuff I keep the collars and the sleeves the same. But then again, I am just glad we are away from Puma. I like all three kits. The only nitpick I have is that the Arsenal badge on the 2nd and 3rd kits should be the same, where its just a single colour opposite the kits main colour i.e its yellow on the third kit, and should be blue on the away. Leave the full colour crest for the home kit only. Or hell, bring back this bad boy instead...
I like the yellow jersey, but from most of the Adidas stuff I have seen I don't really get while people are raving so hard over it while hating on Puma. Haven't really seen anything, aside from the away, that I like so far.
Do people actually buy training gear? Like, shirts are expensive, but buying training gear feels a lot like setting your money on fire. (That stuff is all ugly as sin though)
I’m partial to training sweatshirts, hoodies, and pants. Nike made the coolest stuff, Puma made maybe 2-3 items I liked over their entire run. This adidas gear blows.
To each his own. Don't know that I'd buy them, but I like the navy and yellow short sleeve and the yellow retro-looking long sleeve.
Thanks for sharin. I wonder if someone lost their job because of that leaking. I think they shoulda had a few more Arsenal ladies in this video, especially with the WWC this summer and us having 4 o 5 of our players in it.
Doubt anyone lost their job. My guess is that it was "leaked" not leaked. Wink wink nudge nudge say no more.
new gear is live on adidas's UK site https://www.adidas.co.uk/men-new_arrivals?sort=newest-to-oldest&start=48 so happy arsenal have finally moved on from puma, esp. after seeing mcfc's new kits...
I'm not that impressed by the training gear, but I still have hopes for the new kit, especially the home shirt.
