using that logic Mexico has been better than the USMNT since the 90s, most of their wins come from lucky goals and counters when Mexico dominates and fails to score.

 

They’re the king of the best 10-15 minutes of futbol they’ve ever had against Mexico.

Recently watched the game, Mexico’s defense was ok during the first half, during those 10-15 min they were in shambles.

They adjusted and shut down the world class US team.

But the nads who say they deserved to win because of that small stretch during the game are delusional, it’s lulz. It's actually pretty sad even their so-called futbol pundits are spewing this.

No fue suerte aunque eeuu pego poste en 3 ocasiones pero mexico tambien tuvo 3 donde tambien pudo ser aunque mexico tiene que mejorar la defensa en el mundial.,Analizando los goles, el gol eeuu fue de un descuido de la seleccion mexicana donde dieren la jugada por perdida a cambio de los goles de la seleccion mexicana fueron jugadas generadas. Estas dos selecciones/jugadores se han enfrentado en ocasiones previas. Por ejemplo, varios jugadores de ambas selecciones se enfrentaron en la Sub15 final donde mexico se llevo el triunfo (2-0) junto con el campeonato y tambien el torneo 4 naciones (tambien 2-0). Esto viene desde los años formativos. Son 2 estilos distintos. EEUU es condicion fisica donde creo que mexico es mas estrategia/tecnica. A los estadounides se les acabaron los recursos despues de presionar fuerte en el primer tiempo. En el 2ndo tiempo, mexico los neutralizo. No estoy diciendo que eeuu juega mal porque jugando mal no se llega a una final pero tampoco es para quitarle el merito a la seleccion mexicana porque las cifras estan pero muy a lado de mexico. A good number of their standouts from two years ago have either stalled or regressed (excluding the obvious)......but this new batch is gonna pull the potatoes out of the fire for sure.
